Fuel Rail Fitting

As far as i know the fitting (with the big thin hexagon) on the forward end of the Fuel Rail is some kind of press fitting (maybe with an internal O-ring ??).

On my car I can wiggle it side ways (up, down, left, right) not much but very noticeable.

Is this bad or is this normal?

press-fit expanding rubber plug thing.  You cannot remove it without ruining it apparently.

Mine moves a little, how you describe, that is normal.
