Thinking back, Bibs is correct - the GT1 replica project was starting in 2002 !  That project was never present on this forum.

The owner was not back in Germany on Saturday, so the viewing is now on 9th !

I viewed the car last Saturday.

Currently in negotiations to secure it.  Car really hasn't changed and done very low mileage since it was built.

I was in discussions with the seller who suddenly decided that he didn't want to sell it anymore.  The ad is removed and as I understand, it is not for sale any longer.

Was good to see it anyway - even though it has not been running in the last 2+ years.

Sorry to hear that. At least the car is still in existence. I do hope Mike, that you'll have the chance to get it back at a later date. Superb looking car.

Very sad to hear Mike, and also sad that the car has not been driven in 2 years either,  Saying that at least if he does come to sell you will get hopefully get it cheaper due to the possible problems of it been standing,  then just work your magic on it    Obviously was not meant to be at this moment in time

Now that is a huge coincidence because Project GT1 is now going to be coming home.  Approx. 2 years after my last contact, the seller came back to me.  I never completely gave up hope....

More to follow, but my old car is coming back to me !
