Suspension question.

Good morning, let me introduce myself shortly. I’m owner of a Elise S1 in a very good shape. This winter I made some adjustments because the car is over 15 years old. For start I replaced the Wishbone rubber whit a Bearing kit. And I changed the dampers in an adjustable version. This is where my question comes. Is there a guideline to set the adjustable dampers? It lowers the car and make it  softer or harder. What is the best thing to do, hard in front or hard in the back?
