Esprit V8 Build

In order to commermorate the completion of the 27 year production life of the Esprit model and to provide a valuable reference tool to aid servicing aspects of the 'Final Edition' version, a photographic record was made by Lotus Engineering, following the final cars along the production line as they progressed from bare chassis to completed vehicles.

This website of images is not intended to represent any kind of build instruction, but does identify parts configuration and in may cases, the build sequences.

This website should be viewed inconjunction with Service Notes manual K082T0327J and Service Parts List N082T0325J*.

Enjoy!

That's incredible. I have a 4 cylinder but there are enough similarities to help me understand more about how my car is put together. How many other car companies would do this???

Thanks for making this available to us all.

This is very impressive. A history lesson and tech photos all in one.

Thanks!

Kato,

Great reference material. I've been to the site several times now, and have sent the weblink to a few owners on the Forum.

THEN I found this thread and thought it would be very worthy of a refreshing topic 'bump'!

Thank you for making that information available.
