Video and DVD of Lotus Esprits

Just an idea but if any of you have videod (coughing plan to video) doing various jobs on the cars then I could convert it into web suitable footage and we could all have FTP details or a links page

If your doing a job on your esprit why not have someone else film it, then send the footage to me to encode onto the web and we can all have access to a "How I did this" or "how to" web video guide.?

Could even put good ones on a clips for sale website

or make a DVD?

There are LOADS of how-to's on Lotus Esprit World and Esprit Fact File...

Personally, imho, I suggest either of these would be the best repository for a collection of guides so as many as possible are in just one or two places

I bet the Italians would win a creative swearing competition hands down!

There are a few helpful guides on this site, however, I couldn't finda how-to on replacing a V8s A/C compressor or serpentine belt replacement (perhaps I didn't look long enough for the latter). In the DSM world, we have a site that has these how-to's called V-files. They are picture how-to's on the vehicles. In order to keep a list liket his though everyone would need ot participate. Personally, I am making a parts cross-reference list for the V8s as I need to replace or do work on my car.

I know a similar list exists already, however it is not geared for the V8 esprits. I will make a .pdf file or a html how-to with detailed photos and the steps I took to perform a repair or modification. I could create a website for it or I could submit it to LEW. Doesn't matter much to me. I just want ot put the konwledge out there.

Believe me, working on these things is hard enough as it is. I know everyone could use all of the help they can get. Now, let me see if I can find that darn serpentine belt replacement how-to..
