I have an early S2 Elise 111S (2002) now fitted with Honda k20 engine. I considering buying  17 inches wheels in the front and 18 inches on the rear. From team dynamics. The reason for this being that I want too fit lager biger brake kit in the front.
Dose anybody know if the wheels will fit my car ?

You can fit 4 pot calipers inside the standard 16" fronts. How big are these brakes you want to fit?
I guess you could make the 18/17 combination work with some spacers and low profile tyres. Probably be like riding a brick though.

Contact Seriously Lotus about upgrading your brakes within the OEM wheels.

 

The kit I want to install is this one, and it needs wider front wheels and I figure that I might as well bye bigger wheels if I have too bye new ones.

 

So you don't need to increase to 18/17.

Not sure if spacers are required on the rear but Hanger 111 will advise.
