Big Big thanks to the guys and gals at Nick Whales for their hospitality on Sunday.

They were very friendly and looked after us from start to finish. We didn't even leave them many sandwiches to take home

Special thanks to Ian Garrett for the wonderful gesture in donating that special Lotus watch for our logo competition prize. Everyone wants to win it............

Dave Oneshot put in a big effort in getting this meet off the ground so thanks Dave.

The highs for me:

1. Seeing a line of Esprits reflected in the RAC building on the M5/M6 jct. That was worthy of a place in the LEW calendar

2. Meeting Ambrose, Ben, Steve Palmer, Punky and Graham (red 89 Stevens with V8 trim) for the first time

3. Seeing my old S3 turbo, still looking lovely

4. seeing no rain or floods

5. Meeting friends and catching up with the gossip

6. Dodgy Dave for being a knight in shining armour

7. watching two gorgeous blondes (Mrs Heath and Graham's wife) acting out "Thelma & Louise" in a red Audi soft-top

The lows:

Nope, can't think of any

I'll shortly be posting details of the next meet (North Wales instead of Nick Whales :o ) so stay tuned.

Graham.

As my V8 is making its way back to Nick Whale's Emporium (on the back of the AA recovery truck), I suspect that in reality I actually paid for all those sandwiches and cans of fizz that you guys and gals consumed on Sunday :crybaby:

Wish I'd have scoffed a bit more now
