Time to take the ferry to one of the best (and most remote) tracks in Northern Europe. Gotland Ring is situated in an old limestone quarry at the island of Gotland. Unless you are local it takes some effort to come here. There are ferries departing either from Oskarshamn or Nynäshamn. We will depart on Thursday May 30 and go back home on Sunday June 2. This gives us 2 days of driving on this marvelous strip of tarmac. Do check out the guide at https://rejsa.nu/bana_info.asp?gotland

Please contact me at stefan.axelsson [at] lccs.nu if you are interested. Information will also be posted at http://lccs.nu (in Swedish).

Sounds interesting. I have been on that track 2 times before with motorcycle. It is very fine track with smooth surface.

There is also inexpensive accomodation In the hostel less than 20kms from the track.

Some will stay in cottages at https://www.maven.se/ and some of us will stay at hotels in Visby. We've got discounts on the ferries so please get in touch with me if you'd like to join. The ferries are filling up, especially on Sunday. This is a popular weekend to visit Gotland since Thursday is a holiday and many people take Friday off.

A couple of great days on the island of Gotland. Challenging track but very fun to drive. We'll definitively will be back, despite the logistic challenges (and cost) to get there. A few photos from the pit below.
