We have British meet here in Finland, just 17km. from where I'm living.

We're going there, I have never been there but seen some photos and there have always been at least one Esprit :) and also lots of rare cars.

Here's the link for happening in english.

Let me know if someone is coming to visit Finland ;)

Accomodation is pretty cheap 20euros/person in two person rooms/day. I'm thinking to stay there saturday and sunday.

We visited there ;) the sun appears from somewhere and suddenly all the clouds gone away and road got dry.

It was a nice journey we were there about 2pm. and the whole meeting ends 3pm. ;) Cars came out from the meeting and people wave to us, that's something new I was quite shocked :(

There weren't any Esprits around and there weren't lots of cars either. Weather was so bad in the morning so that affected surely.

We were sitting and drinking coffee when I almost choke from my coffee :) We saw this:

I have never seen Lotus Europa before, it was a quite funny car :P

Here are couple of proofs that my car is shining now :)

Here it is a real "people magnet"

There was also one Aston Martin DB9, it was a stunning car. Definetely my favourite of the meeting.

Sounds like a really good day - if a bit short! I like all the pics ;)

How did people react to your car?

...and in comparison with the Aston?

"When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle. Then I realised that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked him to forgive me."

My car was a real "magnet" when we get there. People coming forward with cameras, We were like filmstars ;)

No one came to talk about car but we went straight to see other cars, so didn't spent any time near my car.

It was a short but great day, I'm very happy that I went there.

And Aston... no one watched it when we arrived ;)

Looks like a good day, thanks

for sharing the pictures Jussi ;)

I like a mix of non Lotus cars at shows, i've seen most of the UK Esprits

by now and the mixed events are always a good day out. Pity there were

no historic military stuff like tanks etc...

...to run over this ;)

Dunno... I found the rear end vaguely appealing ;)
