About time I think we started a separate thread for this issue which seems to be growing. There are 3 or 4 posts here in page 1 of Emira niggles but maybe a moderator can copy them to here to keep all together. The other Emira Forum that is linked in those posts has a thread on this issue and even a poll of the car age to see if a common theme.

Seems as the cars age some of them are showing signs of paint bubbling on mainly the door tops. 🤬 It appears whether car stored indoors or out and I'm getting the vibe they appear as they start getting to around a year old. I am fairly sure my car has just started or I'd have noticed this previously and /or the detailer would have, and I have a line of about 5 or 6 bubbles along the top of the nearside door (right hand drive car). My car is wrapped but not this far back and only G-Techniqued in this position.

I looked at friends cars last night at a Club Lotus meeting and lo and behold one early car was clear and the other had the same or even worse than me and he hadn't previously seen them. Both doors. My car is a 7/23 1st reg but who knows when built, and friends car is a later one. (he may post up here sometime). Seems the problem is the door manufacture process and the solution is new doors under warranty. At least that way should be a better chance of a good match ex. factory. I would post photos if I had any worthwhile but hard to get with reflections.

So my problem is now with the dealer so let's see what happens. In the meantime I'd advise all owners to give your cars a thorough check!

The washer bottle on my car is full and when you activate the windscreen wipers and washers there is no sound from the pump which I presume is located in or near the bottle.

I just about s**t myself with the bang and it is quickly spreading unfortunately.

Strange thing is if looked at from straight ahead you can't see impact point as front hinged clam and wiper are hiding it, so it has come in much more vertically than you would expect which is why I will not have seen it coming from van ahead.

Anybody else had a screen replaced yet?

Just watched a video by JP_FOX of a Nurburgring hot lap, it’s a RHD car, he is in track mode (I think) and the large speedo number is in KPH … how do you change from mph to kph? assuming it’s a uk spec car. I know how to set the kph in the small widget screen.

It appears that the voice command system is not installed, I have no option for voice examples in system settings.

So why are there driver profiles, kind of used to the car switching on and asking who I am, but I don’t get this.

strange but voice command works with car play , but the nice apple person doesn’t understand when I want to change the temp

Is it not normal for a short press of mic button for car controls etc and long press for CarPlay ?

I had forgiven the lack of blind spot collision and front and rear collision, but I must admit I miss it, once you are used to it, it’s an essential safety tool.

Oh and why no app to tell me when I forgot to lock it and where I parked it and how much fuel is in it, and I guess when they update the software I have to drive to a dealer, feels like going a bit back in time.

The subwoofer is poor playing mp3 low bitrate but fine using flac , playing via usb 1 or usb2, the Kef produced bits sound good.

So you might get the impression that I am not particularly impressed with the infotainment system, I didn’t expect cutting edge, nor did I expect a jump backwards.

They are lovely, they look amazing and were really comfortable. The form fitted me perfectly, full support from thigh to shoulder and very easy to slip in and out of. Worth a look if you wanted to change the seat to something sportier and of course, a lot lighter than the standard seat.

I have no connection with Nick other than as a customer - but the pieces that I have had before for self-fit have been great!

I don't know anything else about the templates (e.g. do they wrap around or have visible edges?) or which specific film he uses so please direct any questions directly to Aliath

Was in London today so popped into the fancy dealership opposite the Ritz. Nice enough staff, need to be given more in depth training on the company and a trip to the factory!

I asked about the new colours and the samples had arrived today, I later heard that Exeter got theirs too.

new blues are nice, though one is the blue equivalent of dark verdant… almost black inside the showroom… need to see it in sunlight!

The fob is a chunky boi, and I have the tracker so also have a completely separate fob that has to live with the key.

Any suggestions for key rings, what are people using?
