yess thats right, the early jensen healey are not so good, if the engine is one of the mk2 engine's from jensen, then its the same as the lotus engine, only the sump and the tube are different! I also dont know this before!! but i work a lot with 907 engine's i still have some cam covers for sale (some spare bits) :-p :-p

Hi guys, i prepare a overhauld lotus 907 engine for a jensen healey owner, i was almost done and i should have called the guy that i was finish and that he can pick up the engine, but the oil sump is totally different, and also the oil tube (sucks oil to above..) is also different so then you know that also! also the oil sump from a talbot lotus is different, (i dont have a picture of that one..) pictures: Left a Lotus oil sump, and right the jensen healey,

i have seen this car (with the onwer) before on such a forum, but i dont know anymore wich forum it was, but it is a elite (lotus) Lover!! thats for sure!

I also have a esprit turbo, but its a LHD with a very very low miles, (13.000 miles) and thats 21.000 km.. also white with full black leather inside, still on his orginal tyres!!! and i am the 3th owner, and it has a LOG book with every drive inside it, with the mileage next to it!! YEAH!

John, can you bring the 503 to amsterdam? (because you also live in amsterdam i see under your name) and also the 2 leather interiors (ans frond spoilers,airboxes, cambelt covers) what does the car with the spares cost then?

Nice car for parts!!! (oow sorry! i always think that from almost every RHD car :harhar: :harhar: :harhar: ) (only not when the are really good orginal looking!!) LHD = rare... RARE = worth more here in europe

does anybody know here how to remove the oil suction tube (with the filter on the end) from a 907 engine, i have allready bolt-off the ignition + oil thing, (under the carbs.) on the engine, and after that there is a big bolt before the tube start, i also remove that one, but now i need to get the hole oil suction tube out... or must i release the hole section that holds the crankshaft????? Thanks allready!

Yess the interior, thats 100% orginal, the most of the cars with these interior are sold to the usa, here the most cars has cloth interior (what is always hanging)

Great car! this are the early mirrors on a elite, and they are rare! and also nice polish wheels, does it have headlamp cleaners at the front? do you also have inside pictures and engine bay pictures?

inside belguim all the elite cars that i have seen has one (sometimes 2) frog light next to the license plate, on the back i think the dealer whould have done that by delivery, because otherwise they dont get a M.O.T... its a big price for a car thats need a respray, but it still be a S2.2 and oversea bidders are searching for S2.2 cars, they also know that they are rare, and i think this car goes to over sea and here are people how wanne pay 1700 GBP. i know for sure! but we will see, i had a bid before on my restored elite S1 of 10.000 GBP. (everything is done, incl. motor overhauling..) and its a rare LHD, but the guy wants to do a deposit but then he heard that he gone lose his job, so he never take the car (and he came from 1200 km away from me so he was really interested!)

Hi Lotus owners, you also know me as a elite/eclat collector and seller, i have bought a elite complete in spares and bits, (yesterday) and i sold a excel and a elite, now i have bought a esprit turbo from 1982 (white, with full black leather interior) with only 21.000 km on the clock, and i am very happy about it! it needs some TLC so i will share here some pictures what i gone do, (on the esprit board ofcourse) i also bought a LHD europa S2 from 1968 so work enough!! BUT.... I still have 2 elite's and 4 complete in spares and bits So i still can make you happy with parts!!!!!!

ford capri also or not? i also heard something about that.. do anybody know more from this?

i know a guy how builds in a honda s2000 engine (2.4 L) inside a elite, and a mazda rx7 enige, i have seen, elektro engine i have seen, there is so many possible, i also have 907 engine for sale, so if you are interested just PM me Dan, i maby can offer your a engine, (dashboards, interior parts, everything i also have... so we can make a good fair price of it when you also wanne buy a engine and gearbox...)

i have many wheels for sale, and the young boy's really like the wheels for there vauxhauls and VW's because its oldschool wheels and thats right now very hot item, so thats where the wheels go... they only must make them 100 x 4 .... so still some work to do, but you have rare wheels!!

Thanks Kimbers, i must say: the excels are still rolling, and there are not so much cars to break down, many many elite's/eclat's but excels are still good i think (also because of the toyota running gear..) i still get more questions of i have parts for a excel, (i only have a 1983 excel in parts and sold allready many things) so i will strip down soon a excel, because many people are searching for parts,
