  1. Motormania is also on at Grantown Brian, but it is a static show so not my thing, prefer the breakfast craic and driving. Anybody meeting up before the Cafe? I am coming from Keith so probably on my own. tut
  2. I barely use FB so get my meets from S_E cross postings. I was told today that John/Wendy Walsh had arranged a meet also on the 3rd starting at Morgan McVeighs and going on to Grantown on Spey but this does not seem likely if he has got it correct. tut
  3. Unbelievable. Went out for a run on my own at 0900, Keith where I live, Dufftown, Tomintoul, Dufftown, Cabrach, Keith, and forgot all about the Meet due to the accident a couple of weeks ago. I was eleven miles away. tut
  4. N3 needs the cobwebs blowing off and still have my licence till next month, so will pop up and say hello. tut
  5. Mike Stout is also coming along and meeting me at Banchory for a run both ways. Has as much hp as Ali and I combined, Audi R8 V10+. tut
  6. Will meet up with you at Fettercairn Archie. tut
  7. Only just been made aware of your part in this Archie, great idea so I will be up for the weekend for both nights. Quite happy to take a double if you can supply the lassie.<BG> Although there are links on S_E, there is no mention of Saturday and Sunday at Archie's, so I will post that up. 1. Esprit GT3. Elise S1 shed spec - tut Just posted this up on S_E Archie. tut Although the links are in the posts, I thought that I would post the full details of the weekend as Archie has offered his Lodge to us if he gets the numbers to fill it. Would be good to see S_E joining in as it is a great deal from him, we can make it almost a mini TT weekend. tut Name:Archie Buchanan Location:Ballater Car:1988 Esprit Turbo, NMY M100 Posted 28 May 2013 - 03:22 PM Sounds like a great idea. I have that weekend free in the Lodge and the cottages, if I get enough people interested I could block out the Saturday and Sunday night and we could turn it into a Lotus Weekend? We could organise a BBQ for the Saturday night and I'll do breakfast rolls for the mornings. Just and idea. I've got clearance from the boss but I'd need more takers for the room. The Lodge has 10 bedrooms and the two cottages have 2 bedrooms each. I can block this weekend out if i can get takers for most of the rooms. Can everyone pass the word around as I need tell the agency before someone else steps in and books it. All I need to do is cover laundry, cleaners, heat and light so it would be £10 per person per night. Tents free.
  8. Thanks to yourself and Justine Archie for laying on a great lunch, and loads of fresh coffee. Was good to meet up with everybody and talk rubbish. Good run for me both ways, solo on the way in, and a good run home with Ali. I was surprised at the pace of some of the cars on the way to Tomintoul, also the willingness of drivers to let you past, does not always happen with some of the Supercar egos. Cheers tut ps:- must check the tyres for flat spots <BG>
  9. 1. Mark and kay 2. Hedgerley plus 1 (maybe) 3. MikeC +1 (Weather permitting) 4. WendyW without getting lost !! 5. tut
  10. That is some Hangar. Have not flown a helicopter since I retired in 1993, but it should be the same as sex, even after a long lay off it all comes back to you when you lay your hands on the right parts. tut
  11. Hi John, away for the weekend but will give you a call next week. Cheers tut
  12. Best looking car in the Elise range Sandy, also an appreciating asset, one advertised at £32K the other day. Sorry that I screwed up the time for meeting up at Stracathro and never got chance to admire it. Cheers tut
  13. Whose was the blue S1 Exige, as he was not there for the rest of the day? tut
