  1. I have a brand new O/S unit for sale. Ive already sold my new N/S one. C082D4142K I believe is the part number. Its the last casting version. I also have a load of other new suspension items which I will sell (at the right price obviously)
  2. Well, just to nicely wrap up this little thread, my Esprit sold within a week and I got the asking price for it. I could have sold it a dozen times over easily with the amount of interest and offers. I believe it was priced correctly for the car and that is why it was sold. There are a lot of Esprit's out there which are priced incorrectly in the hope that there worth the money and that's why they sit unsold for so long, but there are other threads for discussing "increasing values"... Id like to say its gone to a good home, but Id be surprised if it gets repaired correctly (to my standard) but hey. Everyone seems to want to do things 'as cheap as possible' and those here that truly know the Esprit know that you cannot skimp and do things on the cheap. Does this mean the end of Esprit-ism for me? Nooooo Ill always love the Esprit, it just doesn't suit me in my life right now which is a shame but that's what happens when there are other demands on what little time you have. However, Im sure those that know me will know Ill always be looking for that basket case for restoration in the future
  3. Yes it is my S4. It will make an extremely good project and anyone who knows my car will know how good it will be again! The reason for putting it up for sale is purely down to a lack of time these days to complete the work. I have a little boy who needs my attention more than the car does and the family will take priority over the Esprit. Its a shame for it to just be sitting in the workshop gathering dust and someone will make the most out of it sooner than I do I'm sure. I'm not 'actively' advertising it as such as I do want it to go to a genuine enthusiast and have a good home. If I don't see a decent offer on it, It costs me nothing to retain it and it'll carry on gathering dust. I have received a few offers so far obviously there's the dreamers in there but some have come close.
  4. Looking for a pair of front lower wishbone arms suitable for an S4, S4s or V8 if anyone knows of any
  5. Another breakfast meet for this Sunday coming, the 11th June, for anyone who fancies it at Stow-on-the-Wold. The venue is again Speedwells Cafe. Postcode for parking is GL54 1AB in the main market square, and Speedwells is GL54 1BB. I would suggest aiming to be meeting in the Market Square for 9.30 and if I know a number of attendees prior, I can call ahead and see if tables can be reserved for us again, so far we have 5 or 6 attendees and all are welcome. Hopefully this time there will be no incidents en route!
  6. Excellent to hear..would be good to see you there

  8. As last months Stow breakfast meet was quite a success, and seems to be a good central location to plan more, Im putting out the date for the next one as April 2nd..another sunday morning...It would have been the weekend before but thats Mothering Sunday so Im sure there will be those who are busy on that day. If this date proves unsuitable it can be amended to suit the majority but personally I wont be able make any other date until some time in May after this one.. The venue will be the same again, breakfast at Speedwell's Cafe, Chruch St (GL54 1BB postcode), which opens at 9am (car parking in the main market square GL54 1AB postcode). Sam the owner has phoned me to see if anyone who attends is interested in pre-ordering to help speed up the service on the day for us.If this date is suitable, by all means put your name below so I can pre-warn of numbers expected. The main thread in the Oxfordshire forum will be updated (to save any persons complaining about having to read it more than once..)

  12. Ive booked a table at the destination for 9.30 under the name 'Darren', but its available from 9am which is when Speedwells open on Sunday. Its booked for approximately 10-12 persons, but I did say there may be more if there are partners etc and a few last minute attendees or possibly less if some shy off for a bit of misty weather. Sam the owner is happy to accommodate us in whatever numbers we turn up in and (subject to it turning into a success) has some good ideas for future meets if we decide to make a regular thing of it. And hes a keen enthusiast of the motor car too which always helps... If anyone wants to get sitting down early before everyone turns up then by all means please do, just mention your from the Lotus group booked under my name. There is (I didnt know this) a service charge for large bookings of 10%, which in reality works out about 80 pence per person for their breaky at a guess so it isnt the end of the world. I did mention everyone will be ordering and paying separately so no doubt orders will be taken under persons names etc. I hope this is ok with everyone! We are going to the posh part of the world after all......
  13. I wouldnt worry about cleaning I havent washed mine for two months what are you bringing?
  14. So it's looking like a good turn out for sunday. Regardless of some badly named bit of wind pushing a few fences over nothing stops the enjoyment of a lotus, coffee and no doubt cake.. 14. Mr mrs lizard (from the Midlands somewhere?)
