Hi I have a 1990 esprit 2.2 Turbo. Though the cooling fan is kicking in when sitting in traffic, and the fan seems to be working , the fan fail warning indicator lights up as the fan switches in and out. I dont have an owners manual so dont have good wiring diagrams. I swiched around common relays to no effect. I am assuming its not the otto switch as the fan is switching in or out. As there is no ECU on this model (I think), does anyone know how it senses that the fan is operational.

Hi I have a 1990 2.2 Turbo I bought last year, its a great car in great condition and drives nicely. However as you are going through the gears (as you change) there is a fair amount of popping and farting mainly from the exhaust. I am no big mechanical expert but to me it sounds like some level of fuel burn after the exhaust manifold but I could be wrong. Do I need to do some tuning / servicing of the fuel system. Any suggestions what to look at or if its not a problem let me know. Thanks

Hi I recently purchased a 1990 Esprit Turbo in the UK but live in Ireland. The car is a lovely example and came with as new 5 Spoke 2 piece OZ Racing wheels with polished rims, 17" front 18"& Dunlop SP9000 tyres. On checking the spare it looks standard however the studs for the OZ wheels are longer and there is no other studs with car. The spare is loose when put on. I need to get a set of Studs for the spare so I can change it if I get a puncture. Where are they available, what is the specification. Any help is appreciated. Regards Declan Kavanagh

I have just imported a 1990 Esprit Turbo from the UK to Ireland, I have to pay import tax based on CO2 output from the car. Does anyone know the CO2 output for the 2.2 Turbo
