  7. Grampian Transport Museum Alford Aberdeenshire AB33 8AE Whether young or old, this event is great for you. Maybe you'll see some cars you remember from your youth, perhaps dad had one! This event is about nostalgia! Most car shows celebrate vehicles which were always destined to be classics. Limited editions such as Ferrari's, are seldom scrapped, usually only following an accident or catastrophic engine failure. Instead, this unique event in Scotland commemorates the cars that now survive in numbers under 500 in the UK but that were often built in the millions. Car Information To offset the admin costs of How Many Left, we request a charitable donation of £10. Closing date for all vehicle entries Friday 29th of April. Online Entry www.gtm.org.uk/events/how-many-left/ Contact Details 01975 562292 events@gtm.org.uk

Grant Park Forres IV36 3BN This established annual event showcases vintage, veteran and classic vehicles and is one of the largest such events in the area attracting a variety of exhibits including cars, vans, lorries, motorcycles and steam-operated machines. It’s also the first of the season for many exhibitors, so it’s a good chance for them to get their vehicles out of storage! THERE WILL BE A VARIETY OF SIDE STALLS AND ENTERTAINMENT DURING THE COURSE OF THE DAY. Car Information Starts at 9.00 a.m. where you will be warmly welcomed at the entrants’ tent and be given all your relevant documents for the day. These will include tickets for tea and rolls at the cricket pavilion. We would respectfully draw your attention to the following points. 1. Vehicles left locked and unattended cannot be judged. 2. 11. Grantown Show Field, Cromdale Road, Grantown MotorMania to link with Truck2Grantown 2022 MotorMania has been running for over 20 years in Grantown -on- Spey, albeit due to the recent Covid pandemic, the events from 2020 and 2021 had to be cancelled. Several key committee members have also retired in that time, including the founder Chairman, Ewan Sutton, and the Secretary, Duncan Grant. Due to a lack of sufficient replacement volunteers, the remaining committee members met recently to try and find a way to ensure that this prestigious event can continue. As a result of this meeting, it has been decided that Motormania will integrate this year with another of Grantown’s major shows, namely “Truck In2 Grantown”, which is taking place on the Grantown Show Field, Cromdale Road, Grantown on the 14th May 2022 . As it is very late in the day to try and organise this amalgamated event, we regret that we are only able to accommodate 100 Motormania vehicles for the show this year. Please also note that there is a charge of £20 per vehicle entered, which includes driver and one passenger. Other adults and spectators will be charged at £7.50 . It is hoped that, if the event is well supported, we will be able to significantly increase the number of exhibitors for 2023. We look forward to welcoming you this year either as an exhibitor or as a spectator. If you are interested in exhibiting at the show, booking can be made using the following link www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/motor-mania-tickets-326639055207 . Meantime, keep your eyes open for our new Facebook page which will keep you all updated with our progress and other information. If you have any questions please email: Ewan MacGregor Chairman Motor Mania at ewanmotormania@gmail.com
  12. 49 cars are now booked on our Club Stand Is there any one who has not yet booked want to join us on our Stand? It would be great if we could get 50+ cars.
  13. Beach Esplanade Aberdeen National Drive It Day is usually held on the nearest Sunday to the 23rd April. This date was chosen in 2005 to commemorate the 64 cars which set off on the 23rd April 1900 on a 1000 mile Trial, an incredible undertaking in those days and one which we believe deserves an annual celebration. 10am Depart As usual we will meet at the Beach Esplanade. Destination is Drum Castle with a coffee stop at the Deeside Railway Centre. As Union St. is closed we will have to go via the harbour area, onto the South Deeside Road and up to the DRC. As they are opening their Carriage Restaurant especially for us so please make use of it. We will then go over the back roads to the castle and park on the South Lawn as in previous visits. The NTS will charge £3 per car for parking at Drum. More details and route are on their website. gvrs.net/Home.htm
  14. From Darren Angrave Good evening all, I have bad news unfortunately reference the Theme Day. Due to the timescale for being allowed to have the event and to it happening this years show has had to be cancelled. The cancellation is in part also due to committee members retiring and or moving on with there lives. If there are any members of the group wish to volunteer please pm either myself or Sharon Paterson for further details. Thank you for all of the support given to the Theme Day by everyone and hope to see you next year. Email: patersonsharon@aol.com
