These engines are available now. They're primarily intended for racing applications as the Cosworth ECU doesn't support the standard dash functions etc. I think Bibbs was preparing a write up of the day. Anyone interested if I was to organise another Cosworth factiry visit?

Hi, I though you guys may be interested in some oil testing that we did recently. We initially wanted to undersand how the viscosity affected engine output so that we could find the sweet spot (thickest oil that didn't reduce power), and recommedn that to our clients. We were actually very suprised by the results that you can read about here http://tdi-plc.com/blog/category/chairmans-blog/engine-oil-tests and attached. For most recommendations we're recommending HKS 0w42HR oil with ZX1 aditive which should yield around 4% increase in average power. The 0w20 performs even better but we're unsure of the impact on engine life at this point. We carry these in stock so perhaps give this some consideration next time you're due a service? The Cosworth engines are part of our new upgrade programmes being released soon for the Evora and Exige S.

Please meet at 10am at the recepection of Cosworth: ST JAMES MILL ROAD NORTHAMPTON NN5 5RA The talk and tour will end at around 2pm. Please understand that certain areas of the factory are commercially sensitive so no picures will be allowed in those areas. If in doubt, please ask for permission to take pictures. They're a good bunch of guys so will help as much as possible. All being well you could get to see an F1 engine on the dyno! Unfortunately I've been called away on a tour of duty overseas so can't attend, but Sam will be along to enjoy the day with you. Good afternoon. I thought you may be interested to know that I've arranged a tour of the Cosworth facility in Northampton on Friday 26th April. It's a really interesting day which encompasses a walk round their manufacturing processes including the F1 engine build shop, a good luck at their products and engines, hopefully get to see an F1 engine being run in the dyno test cell, and a talk about some of the impressive projects that they're involved with in the motor racing, military, aerospace and marine worlds. There'll also be show casing their Toyota 2ZZ and V6 engine components, which will also be available on special offer on the day. We can acommodate a maximum of 16 people.
