  1. Nice run this, just did it recently, would've tagged along had the other halfs dad not been over visiting from Canada. Nice to see there's another Evora running around locally too @Johnny5
  2. Ate you sticking with the standard spoiler or the wing? I saw photos of another car that had the GTE kit and standard spoiler and thought it looked superb.
  3. There is always a next car.
  4. Oh I'd be hopeful for low prices too if I was in the market for one bud, no worries there! What you always need to remember though, is one car going to the market for £58k doesn't instantly see every other car being slashed to £58k. Not to offend anyone here that has one, but for me I find the silver my least favourite colour the 400 has been made in, so I wouldn't have bitten on a cheaper one when I bought mine regardless.
  5. I've already had discussions with my local dealer and can tell you that's not the case.
  6. Due to my new work contract I'll probably rarely get any use out of mine now, so may sell it as I'll only be home one weekend a month (zero point bringing it to London!). I would be fairly disappointed to only take £58k back out of it though, especially since it's now a rare non-creaky seat model!
  7. Haha, I spent ages earlier looking for the Hethel plate, not the licence plate.
  8. Im only looking on my phone, but I can't see any plate in that pic?
  9. No idea Jaws, couldn't even tell you where it's located! (And away with work for two weeks now)
  10. Jayemm be getting the factory to wash the car next, as when it gets dirty he'll be unhappy because it certainly didn't come from the factory like that.
  11. 450 mile drive today and the only Lotus I spotted, got the Mrs to grab a pic since we were crawling in traffic. I wasn't in the 400 so didn't wave like a muppet.
  12. I was told it was a really quick fix, I could've literally just driven in and back out again shortly after. Can't give an exact time on how long it took as I just left it with the dealer for the week while I was in London working.
  13. To be honest I barely even notice it these days and it's easy enough to cancel it out when it starts anyway, the root cause when it occurs seems to be poor gear selection.
  14. They certainly do, from day one. Which makes this a massive question.
  15. I might have been out and about locally too much with being off work these two weeks, I've had these this week from kids "****ing check that out, Lotuses are amazing!", and "mister, that Lotus is the smartest car I've ever seen". The secret is out.
  16. In the last couple of weeks while on holiday the 400 has returned some superb mpg for what it is, it puts my 2.0l estate car to shame.
  17. @Bibs Did you get that hoody out this week mate?
  18. I'll tell you what's baffling me with 'new' Evora buying at the moment, the people who have been joining to complain about the cars which they seem to have bought without even test driving. While I sympathise with things going wrong, I've had my own issues, who lays out that amount of money on a 400 blind? It genuinely blows me away.
  19. Spot on. My 400 was scraping £80k list when I bought it, I paid £73k, and that was with me being one of the earlier buyers in 2015. Dealer I bought it from while I was talking to them recently said they would retail it as it stands now for £63k. A drop of £10k in about a year may seem a lot, and it is, but when you compare it to other cars in the same price bracket it's pretty damn good. I think buying a new 400 now, sub £70k purchase price is realistic, and what I suspect most new buyers are paying.
  20. Probably the mass air flow sensor issue. I had the same and has now been fixed, no issues since.
  21. It's not the best looking engine bay Jimmy, but it's going to be quite a beast once it has a few bits tidied. Taking us a bit off topic from Evora's, but I did make a quick vid when we went down to the MOT centre with the car, gives you an idea of the noise at least, I've had to trim it to a few seconds so as not to exceed the forum limit. 22. I'll take one when I go to the garage tomorrow Jimmy, I've just put the 400 away for the day. This one is a SA import as well.
  23. Going for all the V's in the brother and I's toy storage now, he just added this 1970 MKI Capri with a little heart transplant to the list, a tiny little 302ci 5.0l Mustang V8 tucked up in its skinny wee body.
  24. She looks like she's caught a whiff of something she's not too keen on, maybe she should put her leg down.
  25. I like that, but maybe only with the logo, not sure about having the URL on it.
