Hello Fabian, I have just come on to the forum and your name keeps coming up.I am restoring an essex esprit No 21. We are in the process of trying to refurb the compromotive wheels and i have been told that you may have some aluminium hat washers. Is this true and are they available, could you let me know please. All the best Dave

Hi Dave,
soneone mentioned you might be getting image to do your wheels. I spoke to Harry at image and arranged to get the wheels made with rolled lips. I needed five people and then two made a fuss and pulled out. I now have all of thee parts except a front rolled lip. Harry said he can make them but needed five sets to make it cost effective. Have you asked him about this? I still need a front. Cheers Fab.

Hi Dave,
congratulations nice car! Jo chan( final edition) on here had the washers made up and I think they are all gone. I have just enough for my comps. I do have inner Barrels if you need some? The original front Lips are illusive. Image wheels can make lips for a reasonable price but the profile is slightly different and the edges aren't rolled. Good luck with the resto.
Cheers Fabian.

Hi Jon, hope your well. I've just got round to fitting the extinguisher and put the pull cable where you did. Slight problem there not enough thread n the pull cable to put the nut on. Did you find a pull cable with a longer thread? Presumably you had the same problem. Have asked life line who,are getting back to me. Cheers Fabian.

Hi Fabian
I have a header plate going spare if you can make use of it. The one that holds the clock and sun visors. It's certainly not for an S3 and I think it is the one that fits your car. I got it to practice replacing the headlining before I started on mine. I have sold the clock and the visors and have no need for the plate so it's yours if you want it. I see you are in Surrey, I'm near Farnham, drop me a text on 07931 657806 if you want to pick it up at any time

Hi Fabian,
Amazing restoration, and so very inspiring and informative! I saw that you have the same ignition switch arrangement as I do, and I am in need of a replacment ignition switch. You wrote that it was from a Triumph via Rimmer Bros. Do you have the part number or any idea which Triumph it's from?
Thanks!

Hi have got home and can't find the receipt for the switch so dont know the model number. The steering locks do vary and some take a diffeent diameter switch. Best thing to do is measure your switch diameter and call rimmer bros. Get them to get one from a TR6 with the same diameter, thats how I did it once I had identified possible switche from their parts catelogue. The other switch supplier moss-europe. Look at the pictures on there website, but get them to meaure diameter before ordering. Hope this helps. Cheers Fabian.

Hi Albert,
I think it came off a TR6. There are many of these ignition switches in the catelogue and they are all very similar looking but wont fit. I bought a few that didnt fit before I got the correct one. The wiring colour coding was wrong to the switch so redid it all. Im away at the moment will have a look when I get back to see if I can find a part number. Cheers Fabian.
