  1. Alright David! Like the Whale Shark impression comment. I tried finding Whale Sharks in the Maldives, but no luck. Leaving for Bonaire on Saturday, but there won't be any there either. I do get to try out my underwater comms this trip. Talking underwater who would thought it possible for the regular vanilla scuba diver.
  2. Janus at 10 weeks old after a Starbucks visit. Black Tri Mini American Shepherd attempts to navigate the Brit Esprit. She had a great time at Blackbird Cafe greeting customers, eating cream cheese and getting the occasional pets. I sipped my Earl Grey tea HOT (Picard style). Janus gave out puppy kisses for free. Dumb Americans with dogs licking their faces. Yuck!
  3. I guess we have a few cat owners here. I have a few dogs in the UK if anyone needs their face licked to cheer them up.
  4. Call me stupid then... 22 years of breeding multi-world champion Miniature American Shepherds and all my dogs lick my face. A small price to pay for unconditional love.
  5. I have managed 6,713 miles on my 03 Esprit this year with 2,000 of those miles put on last month.
  6. This is just moron level F**k Up! You didn't need this to happen with all the other things on your plate.
  7. The Go Pro definitely brings the war to our devices. The Ukrainian soldiers are incredibly brave and strong fighters. It does help to broadcast that the war is indeed still very active. The words "a democracy if we can keep it" is always at the back of mind when I see this footage.
  8. Emira production line change - is for the good or possibly bad?
  9. He chose the Novachok mushrooms? These are not the shrooms you're looking for.
  10. Wow, they are similar indeed!
  11. I went to LOG42 and it worked the "entire" time. Nearly 1,300 miles over 4 days. There's a Gremlin in that speedometer somewhere and God it was HOT over 100F with 85% humidity. My A/C worked like a champion. The only failure for my trip was my gas struts for the boot. So, it was a two-person job to open my boot. That boot lid is HEAVY!
  12. Even India got their lander to the South Pole of the Lunar surface which is a major feat in itself.
  13. Can't wait to see the ordinance used on the F-16's hardpoints with all their lovely catch phrases: Putting Putin in the Past, Daily Dose of Medicine, Kremlin Pain Killer, Moscow or Bust, Takin Out Putin Permanently...oh I'm sure there are so many better than these. Not my best off the cuff.
  14. Drifting Dave (albeit completely unintended) is definitely hero of day to bring your Evora back on course and to a safe stop. I did enjoy your story even though mostly things were predictably dreadful in regard to the Tow company antics. You knew way ahead of time regardless of your valiant efforts to inform them. I hope Jennifer understands as I assume she would your predicament. Fortunately, underpants are easily replaceable. Let us know when the Evora is back up and running. Thanks for sharing despite the circumstances.
  15. They need an inside man in Kremlin to remove him by any means necessary. Hopefully they can use that drug they used on Navalny or just push him off building or out of a helicopter. Navalny needs to take over.
  16. Why does a dog lick his balls...because he can. Same logic applies here except Putin knows he can get away with it for now. He controls the media narratives and the military. However, there will be a time when the Russian people tire of this non-human entity. I wouldn't be surprised if they burn him alive on live TV when his reign ends providing, he doesn't get to launch Nukes before he's toast.
  17. Filip, At least, it would NOT be necessary to fly to the Azores (alright maybe a local Pub) and kiss the ring for your upcoming spot. McCarthy made his deal with the "Devil" and is still on his knees. This is one occasion where a time machine jump ahead by 50 years would be so entertaining to see how things worked out. I'm sure Vegas is allowing beating on which Republicans go to jail.
  18. I apologize on behalf of America for its 75-year trip backwards in an obviously broken time machine. It's all about money and power. A very small minority of America unfortunately has taken control politically to ensure they remain rich and powerful. This small minority has convinced and brainwashed mostly lower income people that something is terribly wrong with democracy. Ironically, the idea a supposed billionaire who uses their campaign funds to pay his legal bills doesn't seem to bother them. It seems a billionaire could afford his own lawyers and litigation fees. I can't wait until science, facts and democracy become in fashion again. Once a few higher up Republican conspirators are imprisoned, it might give America the kick start it needs.
  19. Here's a picture of the passenger side front rim. You'll need to zoom in to see how the acid scorched it.
  20. My Nova OZ rims are now acid washed no thanks to a local hand car wash business in my city. I showed the owner of the car wash, and he will call me in a few days. In the meantime, the tires need to be dismounted and the rims will need to go to restoration shop. Does anyone know what I should look for and what process needs to be used for the restoration. Also, what's a real lead time on the time to fix and potentially the cost (labor hours/rates) for ALL 4 rims. This is happening right before LOG 42 and LotusPalooza in the states which sucks immensely. Appears there's 2 coats of paint: Black then Silver following by a clear coat. Lotus Esprit – OZ Nova Wheel The painting is from AKZO nobel and the code is:: - 7E85305 for painting silver - 6880302 for black first painting - 5K20023 for transparent Does anyone know of a set of 4 OZ Nova for sale possibly? I realize that's a very long shot for these unobtanium rims. Thanks, Bill
  21. At least you had happy times before the queue! The queue is the reminder of a big slap of reality coming your way.
  22. Good on the correct mileage. Bad on the flashing odometer. As the heat goes up. Mine will lock up or flash. If I let it sit for more than 5 minutes, it will display the correct mileage that it has accumulated since the lock. However, when it's cold outside, then it displays correctly. I have a new speedometer, but I'm waiting for it to die completely before replacing.
  23. My wife has an issue with electronics overall. Particularly, any devices that requires charging. If I could develop "AIR" charging...any device within 4 to 6 feet of a chair or bed in the house which can recharge within proximity to an air-based charger. Imagine eliminating power cords on laptops and phones. Maybe I'll get abducted by aliens, and as payback for my probing they will provide me with this magic electronic elixir equation for humanity. I can't tell you how many times she really needs her phone charged for important business calls and then she needs to use my phone. I remind her, "how many times has my phone or laptop been uncharged?" The answer is once or twice in 20 years.
  24. God, you must be so infuriated! Our world is now so authentication driven. Almost need a Siim card surgically implanted. I have an Inspire sleep apnea device. Maybe I can add a Siim card port to it in case I lose my phone? We are too dependent on our phones unfortunately.
  25. Can you track your phone with your laptop? Hopefully it won't ask to authenticate.
