While driving my Elise Cup around the roads, I'm just getting used to the harnesses. This is our first car with harnesses and I'm sure they are going to make a difference when on track, however ... when I got to the end of our road I had to undo them completely to look over my shoulder and check nothing was coming. For some context, I'm 5'3" so I have the seat as far forward as it will go and obviously I'm perhaps a bit lower in the car than most of you. So my question is, do you have any tips to help me see at junctions and any other hints that might make it easier with the harnesses?

Hello, Just driven home from collecting my new Ardent Red Elise 220 Cup from Aims at Silverstone. Whilst this is my first post, most of you will know my Lotus history from my hubby TJ3N, but now we have one each! (He thinks he's going to get a go in mine - I've only let him 'check it was ok' so far). For those that don't know we had an Elise CR that we replaced last year with the LF1, but I missed the Elise so sold my Boxster S to buy the Cup. So the spec: Ardent red Wing mirrors and stems in matt black Red contrast stitching interior Air con Air bag delete A frame with harnesses Plumbed fire extinguisher and isolation switches FIA carbon race seats Cup R forged wheels and yokohoma tyres Front and rear towing eye Performance air filter The car looks fantastic, Lotus and Silverstone did a brilliant job prepping it, once again Aimee and the team at Silverstone went above and beyond getting us my perfect bespoke spec. Now to get it run in ready to get on track. We'll be at the festival on Saturday, the car will be on the Elise 20 year display. Cheers Alex
