  1. I have actually emailed RimStock last week, just chased again. They sorted a group buy for the VX220 owners club 2yrs ago, sold 50sets of 16/17 combo wheels at a very good price. Could be a good way to get some spare (lighter) track wheels. I requested info based on: Front 8.0J x 18H2 Rear 9.5J x 19H2 Inset Front + 52 mm Inset Rear + 69 mm PCD 114.3mm Centre Spigot 68mm These sizes/measurements were taken from the Evora wiki (evorainfo.net)
  2. What about if you bought direct from RimStock? ie, if I ordered some Pro Race 1.3s direct using the right size and offsets?
  3. See, I'm the opposite, I think the Evora suits a bright colour and not so much the silver/grey/black. It's a sports car, it should be a sporty colour If you want a grey repmobile, buy a mondeo or a BMW.......
  4. These are cars built in a shed by Norfolk farmers, so who knows
  5. Interesting... I spoke to Craig today, as he was servicing my car ready for collection on Saturday. He was gonna have a look to see if my car had wiring and enable the ecu if needed. So hopefully I can then fit the seats and the switch panel, job done.....fingers crossed it's that easy! Oh and my car was registered as a lotus management car in October 2010... Chassis number says its an MY11 car.... So who knows if it's a post Aug build date.
  6. You can drive mine on Sunday Perhaps a drive to Sunningdale?
  7. Ahh ok. Well given the seats are replacement items (as per ebay link in first post) I know the seats are definitely heated. Just need to confirm wiring is there and get ECU activated. I've asked Murray's to check this just now, I collect the car Saturday. Clearly if the wiring is there, then I'll get the ecu activated in advance and if the wiring isn't there, then I'll just have nice new seats without heater elements or look at retro fitting a wiring/switch kit without using the car's existing loom. And if the wiring is there, I'll definitely be interested in the switch panel from you!
  8. Interesting. So looks like I need to order a switch panel and go from there. When you say 3 of 4 elements?
  9. Ahh, the little union jack posted by alfa2evora? I've seen it on a couple I think?
  10. Think of the crap they stop from hitting the sills though, cuts down on stone chips etc.
  11. My only concern is how yellow the stitching is, compared to the Orange yellow of solar yellow, if that makes sense? We'll see, when the too get put together. Interestingly the yellow was the highest price.
  12. Should go well in a solar yellow Evora right? that I haven't got yet!
  13. Ok, so I won these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lotus-Evora-A-Pair-Of-Recaro-USA-Heritage-Edition-HTD-Seats-Yellow-Stitching-/151628210277 Fitting should be easy enough, but how easy to retro fit the heated part? Anyone retrofitted heated seats?
  14. I like the sound of the valved system mentioned on 2bular website. Coming 16th April it says?
  15. Yes, I read on a US site that the S has a lightened flywheel compared to the NA. You can "upgrade" the NA, but you need to replace flywheel plus all clutch parts. I believe it's 5lb lighter than the NA version.
  16. Hold fire on the BOE... I've started a conversation with ITG to see if they can build and supply a UK made intake. BOE use ITG filters, so ITG make the filters, ship them to their USA distributor who then sell to BOE. Why pay BOE to ship it back to the UK, pay UK customs & excise for the pleasure etc. So I'm hoping we can use ITG to build an Evora solution.
  17. To be honest, it's not so much blind spot, more whats the point in a large mirror for the postbox rear window Plus I have one here from my last car.
  18. I have a sector111 micro mirror, does it fit the Evora? Anyone else using one from their elise days? http://www.sector111.com/parts/interior/trim/micromirror.cfm
  19. Vx220 gone today Only a week to go though until collection of Evora
  20. Is that why people fit the gt4 wing? So you can mount spare underneath the wing? Hehe
  21. Flights booked to Edinburgh for Good Friday!! Woop!! Hopefully, MMC will get everything sorted this coming week and I'll be driving my Evora home next Saturday.
  22. So a "Get you home spare" that you would leave in your garage?
  23. Got a link? If Dave & Whitey are going, then I need to add my Solar Yellow to the mix
  24. What do you have by way of parts for evora Yvo? /goes to search.
  25. 88W is 560kg and 168mph? So is it 560kg per tyre? Combined front axle of 1120?
