  1. its a bit of a twat (am I allowed to say that) of a job as I found when fitting my 2bular exhaust. If I were you I wouldn't bother. although as H111 says if your car is new maybe take the opportunity to copper slip all the nuts for future
  2. What does yours say please Brent? Cheers
  3. +1 for the louvred boot window. Not bothered about carbon either ?
  4. Mine is also march 14 ha ha. I shall give the dealers another call after the long weekend. Il also try what you suggest. Thanks. Your comments also seem to tally with this thread
  5. What year is your car please? Is it a manual? I rang my dealers and they said my car has nothing due. It wasn't serviced at lotus last year either and service is due next month. So if there's been any software upgrades in last 23 months it hasn't had it.
  6. Hi Brent This is very interesting. what year is your car please? is it a manual? I have rang my dealers as I now have FOMO ha ha.... especially if you get more pops and bangs UPDATE: no recalls or updates awaiting my car (14 plate manual). I wonder if its an optional update?
  7. i also asked and got told no because it requires changes at chassis level. so I guess it might boil down to if your prepared to drill holes in your chassis or not
  8. that's very interesting. maybe some heat management too?
  9. Did I miss something.... the 380 doesn't rev as high as older cars? what is the limiter at in the 380? I sometimes wonder where lotus would be if they had paired with Honda as their engine partner instead of Toyota... the S2s would have been a better car with the Type R engine in as many people can confirm and the new 2.0T engine with 310 bhp is surely a lot lighter then the 3.5 lump
  10. KT change the manifolds whereas 380 still has stock Toyota ones and stock cars just a different back box. The KT is definitely the better solution. For the great many people that already have an uprated back box though a pulley and map for +30 hp would be a nice mod for not much outlay. Circa £1500 or so? The pulleys arent expensive.
  11. They did 220 to 260 kits aswell if I remember correctly. So similar vane to what we would want now. I already have a 2bular exhaust so would only want the pulley and the map. I suppose I could just get Essex autosport to do me a live map with smaller pulley, would probably cost more that way though and a lotus upgrade kit would be much better for resale I think. Maybe they just switched fuel pump suppliers ha ha
  12. Lotus offered the upgrade kits for the S2 Exige didn't they and I don't think it was too exorbitantly priced. Yes it is interesting that lotus feels the need to upgrade the fuel pump but all the tuners don't.
  13. I'm still hoping Lotus will offer it as an upgrade. Or someone else...
  14. RRP was what I meant.. was just interested, I presume at least £85k?
  15. Anyone hazard a guess as to total cost of Sebs car?
  16. I would give the pads a try with a new set of discs. if they aren't perfect to start I doubt it will take you too long to reshape them
  17. I really like the Seb car. I was expecting something a lot worse.
  18. Are you fitting it yourself? how do you deal with the ECU part of it. Cheers
  19. Scratch that. Just looked on reverie website. More like £1800
  20. So that's £750? For diffuser and the blanking plate bit? That's seems pretty reasonable. My S240 had a carbon diffuser on it when I bought it. Looked awesome. Now I've seen that I want it badly
  21. I believe Essex autosport are one of few people who can do live maps. I would be really interested to see what a stock car could be remapped too with 99 fuel and reduction in how rich stock cars run.
  22. Camskill, mytyres, oponeo. I think they will all ship to you
  23. SSC im sure I read somewhere that round hethel an Exige is -2 seconds quicker with nitrons over stock and only a further -1 second on top for Ohlins. So you already got 66% of the LapTime gain from current setup
