  1. One of the quickest V6 drivers I know uses the 550/850 combination. He admits its a compromise for outright track use, but they are dam good on the road. My 360 cup had 850/1100 and was brilliant and easy to drive on track but the 550/850 was better on the road. Decide what your main focus is and go that route but remember one or the other (Road/Track ) will be a compromise
  2. Yes they are made by Rimstock (Team Dynamics) Fronts are 5.5 kg approx Rears are 7.0 kg approx
  3. Post again as i cant edit my post, meant to say 235 not 225 Running a 205/45/16 front tyre has been done LOTS of times by many people (Everyone who ran Toyo R1R tyres for a start) Lotus used the AD08 205/45/16 and 235/40/17 on the Elise cup 260. Using the same 7x16 / 8x17 wheels and body work as the regular 250 cup. So yes they will fit and work

  5. Yes updated info My old 360 cup factory info said Mobil1
  6. Prior to Petronas they recommended Mobil 1 10/60. I assume something to do with Korean ownership?
  7. Lights on is not currently available on the AIM as far as i can tell
  8. I did lots of development with AIM on these. I have one in my Black dash project Elise that has the variable 10 position traction control. Mine has messages👍
  9. It takes a few seconds for the dash to connect to the channel expander on boot up
  10. Another software update released today https://www.aim-sportline.com/en/sw-fw-download.htm#firmware The most interesting is the ability to disable the air bag light!!!!! Fix RPM bar graph in Digital pages Fix Gear display in Blue Road Digital page for 2011-2020 configuration Activate/deactivate airbag icon warning from menu (in case airbag module is not installed) Fix cruise control icon NOTE: after firmware update default model configuration will be installed
  11. That is very possible but adds a bit more cost, The sensor leads/ camera leads are the same price regardless of the lengths, so i just used a data hub and can expander located near the dash
  12. You will need Aim CAN expander, Aim channel expander, Pressure and temp sensors, suitable aim cables for the sensors, Boss welding into the sump (or a baffled sump with boss already fitted) I also always mount the pressure sensor at the end of a braided hose, We found the vibrations from the engine destroys sensors, T piece for the oil sensor. I would ask why do you need oil pressure and temp sensors if you dont go on track very much?
  13. Logging is set up using Motec software connected via the OBD port. You set up the logger and then transmit to the dash
  14. Send me an email and i will see if i can download my info and send it too you
  15. Its in the OBD port under the dash in the centre of the car. As per my other post you need the download lead from lotus. I assume you have the logging option activated?
  16. Yes you need the download lead from Lotus. It plugs into the obd port. The same lead also connects to the sequential gearbox so if you have the software you can also communicate with that You should have received a memory stick with the car, That has all the manuals and data needed to work the dash etc etc etc
  17. Speak to Chris Randall at Hofmanns in Henley on Thames. Lotus dealer, They offer there own warranties i believe.
  18. George is right in the ball park with about 6k Just had my project Elise painted, I did ALL the stripping and reassembly as well as supplying all the seals and decals. Just the paint work with clams removed was north of 3k and that was mates rates. With paint work its costly to sort out a shite job afterwards. low cost paintwork is cheap for a reason!!!!!!!
  19. Yes i RS3, start a new configuration ( Second icon from top left of RS3) and it will ask you to select the model year, same selection within the Dash itself
  20. Make sure when you are doing the dash lights either receive software from the dash and then update the lights, then transmit Or Start a new config. but you MUST select the correct model year, update the lights if you need/want to, then transmit. The software has all three different model years in it, but they are all separate and you select the one you wish to use, then you MUST transmit the correct model year for it to work on the version you are using Hope this make sense
