  1. Bibs, If I could have tickets for Sunday that would be fab! (a performance parking pass for Sunday as well would be icing on the cake!!) Graham
  2. Couple of more pictures from the book launch 2nd picture (l to r) Johnny Tipler (author) Ian Catt (photographer) Clive Chapman (CTL) William Taylor (publisher), and Colin Chapman lurking in the background!!
  3. Was an awesome day! Will post up some more photos later
  4. Good link to follow: https://www.classicandsportscar.com/news/lotus-celebrates-its-big-day-style-700-car-parade?utm_medium=EMAIL&utm_campaign=ENews Bulletins&utm_content=CLAS ENews Digest 3rd October 2018 (03.10.18)::Hyperlink_20180111_101418266&utm_source=20181003
  5. I agree - Lotus should do something special to mark the 30th Anniversary of the m100 Elan (but then again, I'm biased!!)
  6. Excellent work Bibs - well done and Thank You! Will try to get a contingent from the EALC (East Anglia Lotus Club) up for the day
  7. Maybe I've missed it, but I couldn't find a date for the TLF International Lotus Day for 2017. Is it happening, and if it's at Brooklands, is the Hotel offering the excellent deals on overnight stays again?
  8. Could you order 2 for me pretty please? Thanks
  9. Thanks Geoff - the photos are brilliant, and just what I was looking for!
  10. Thanks Barry, that's a great help
  11. Hi Guys and Girls We are going to the Goodwood Revival in September and are doing it "properly" by dressing up in period clothes. Most of my clothes are sorted, but on the Saturday I'd like to go dressed as a Team Lotus mechanic between 1960 and 1966. I've been through all my Lotus books etc to find any photos of how the mechanics were dressed in period, but to no avail. If anyone has any copies of any photos they may have of any mechanics in period dress or let me know how they would have been dressed; colours of overalls and team identification, badges, logos etc. they can let me have I'd be very grateful. I have e-mailed Classic Team Lotus twice, but not had any response from them.
  12. It varies on which one I'm driving at the time! Although there's only 3 weeks difference between the two of them, they're two entirely different cars to drive. The Azure Blue one is a one-owner car with 18k miles and seems to be the more sophisticated one, whilst the Pacific Blue one has 75k miles and 7 previous owners and seems to be the brasher older brother! Bringing the Azure Blue one to Brooklands in May.
