When it rains or when I’ve washed the car combined with using the headlights results in misting of the lens. It happens on both lights and significantly reduces the effectiveness of the lights. I don’t use the car much at night, although it is something that needs to be fixed Just interested to see if others have experienced the same. I seem to recollect some threads for the S1 cars. Ian

Likewise I agree almost entirely with @blindside ... And just remember that 'giving it the beans' in a low gear emphasises the manic exhaust tones!

Great car, nice dog. Will have to see if our cats will be as obliging and pose for photo ...

To echo the comments made: love the exhaust, steering, ride and handling, not to mention powerful and feel some brakes. Oh, and don't forget the manual gearbox - no issues with mine, enjoy using it. My two boys love it too... The school run is about to take on a whole new dimension.

i thought Fire Red was an earlier Lotus colour, but stand to be corrected. I'm no photographer as is all too obvious, but the lighting here shows different shades and is a pretty deep shine in the flesh. Still showing off the reflectors too!

An update to my previous post and queries: I have no sub-woofer. Very disappointed !!! My tests suggested it was not fitted and eventually confirmed by dealer at 1,000 mile service. By using the EQ settings as suggested above the tone is improved, though still remains very much front focused. Until a solution for rear speakers / sub can be found then I'll have to live with the magnificent sound from the exhaust! In terms of production date, I have asked the supplying dealer so that perhaps we can determine a date at which the sub became a 'no cost add option'. Whether the timing of the changes are co-incidental or not, the covering on the boot lid is carpet compared to JayEmm's leather.

Yes, it's the Silverstone car. I had been in touch with the factory following the TG article on the Exige in 007 colours and then I saw the Fire Red Evora advertised, but no pictures. As soon as I saw it, it was a done deal. Originally it had silver forged wheels but I asked them to be changed for the black forged items. Personally, I think these look better than the silver ones in this colour combination ... As always though, these things are a matter of taste!

I think so. It has what looks like a speaker grill in the rear side panel on driver's side. I've assumed this is the sub, but could be wrong
