Sorry for the late answer to the problem. Lotus checked the car during 1000 miles service. Result: the new battery had a defect...got another new one. did not believe it, but the last 2000 km without any problems including a fantastic trip to the Italian alps......

first mountain experience after drive in period in austria, jaufenpass. perfect handling, more fun than with my gt3. the car feels lighter and as precise as the porsche. power more than sufficient on these kind of roads...

also gulf edition, but with red stripe??

back from china yesterday morning, reconnected the battery, car did not start. i drove 200 km to the airport, so the battery should have been relaoded. to make a long story short, parking had a service and they assisted to start the evora. the guys were very friendly, they have already uploaded pics in facebook and admired the british design. i drove the car to the dealer to have it fixed. will let you know the cause..... thanks daitona

thanks, battery already changed...i just thougt somebody might have had the same problem....parked the car now for a one week business trip and disconnected the battery....i hope she will start satzedas morning. the dealer is 200 km away and i want to have her checked after the drive in period....

hello together, i have bought an evora gulf edition new two weeks ago, nice car and after two porsche and an exige 350 sport a more comfortable choice. BUT after i picked the car up two weeks ago, the car did not start after filling it up at the gas station. lotus help arrived after 1 hour, battery was changed and the car started again. after arrival in my home town and 200 km the battery should have been charged. two days later the car did not start, so i put it on a charger. now the car starts, but it is not normal, that the battery is empty after 1 week. i had an honda s2000 8 years ago and the battery only lasted 2 weeks. any body out there with the same problem? for the time being charger or disconnecting the battery is a interim solution. i hope that lotus will find the problem having the first service after 1500 km. thanks daitona

i will try some nicer once this weekend. will be dry and sunny??? second picture shows first break down after first stop at gas station?.....battery had to be exchanged.....problem solved by the dealer within 60 minutes?

hi, i bought my first lotus exige350 in september 16 and swapped it into a gulf evora last week...more comfortable, exciting design, sufficient power. the exige was a race car and the evora is more sports car. as a former porsche driver, only the gt3 is an alternative. today porsche called me if i want to place order for the new gt3.?????

With Standard tires??? Impressed ???? i am far away of being a good driver, but the gt3 makes it relatively easy even for three Times a year Racers. Thanks for giving me a Target ???

thanks for the welcome....yes i know i will miss the revs, power and sound.....but less than have the price for the exige, pure driving and most probably as much fun. the gt3 was a fantastic car, but i was a little afraid that the high rev engine could be a problem after 20 k km plus the crazy prices for these cars will start to drop, once the knew one will be presented. what is the experience of you guys concerning reliability of the engine if you really drive her hard on the track? i have not read about any problems? any known problems after a certain mileage???

Hi, after nearly 10 years of driving Porsche, i have sold my 991 gt3 with a Nice Profit last week ???, still having a boxster gts. To Replace the gt3 i Decided to buy a Lotus 350 Sport, that i picked up today. After the first 200 km i have a Smile on my Face, but not able to really evaluate the Potential in comparison with the gt3. Of Course she is lighter, more direct and pure, but only the first Track day with will Tell the Truth. I will Speed up to reach the First 1500 km to be able to push her harder. Anyway perfect fun and exceptional design, more positive appearence. I will Report more After the First oil Change..
