They have made a slight mistake with the advert as it is not a Sports Racer, it’s a really well specced Evora S with a expensive option list and probably better for it, there are not many about, the main giveaway is the full leather interior with no Alcantara. Looks a great car with good history, you can say any Evora’s or Lotus are bargain’s especially when you see what some inferior and ropey so called fast Fords are demanding at the moment.

Looking forward to our invite to MTC tomorrow it’s going to be buzzing with Lando’s second place today. Checked into Foxhills Hotel this morning and parked next to Lando’s car, reception not happy it’s been there a few days waiting for McLaren to collect it. Sorry to say Lotus need to up there game, even buying used McLaren’s gets you these benefits free of charge.

It’s a good watch, the two journalists seem fair and knowledgeable in there judgment and like you and probably most of the members on here I was expecting the order as you said above. I happy to say you have got this one wrong the Emira get the number 1 spot.

First for me Emira Auto spotted at the Sturgate straight Gainsborough. Looked fantastic , black leather interior and had the yellow 12 o’clock marker on the steering where an option you only get on the auto. It was not running on the runway so impossible to compare with similar rivals. Did run my 570 and have to say the launch control is breathtaking fast, fantastic event will definitely be back in July.

Yes that was me in the McLaren. 9 of the 12 development team for the 570 were hired from Lotus so there are lots of similarities between the two brands especially when it comes steering. It’s not Top Trumps both are great British automotive brands. The best photos I have from the MLOC run today and great to meet you Clive 👍 plus a pic from the same venue the week before in the rain my cars are not garage queens.

Great insight to your 600LT ownership especially for me coming from a 410 Evora to my first McLaren 570 Spider, just a few months into ownership and over the moon with the experience, been out with fellow McLaren owners and like lotus enthusiast they are great bunch people. Please keep posting sure there are members on here that are interested in to moving into the dark side.

Congratulations Tom. Stunning car in one of the best colours, would be a hard choice to pick between Liquid Yellow and Jimmy’s Burnt Orange. Looks like Scott Walker knows how to choose a colour for a 430 after commissioning both yours and Jimmy’s cars. 😍👍

Not selling like hot cakes? Well I have to disagree yes there are 10 on the market at the moment but at the same time the same amount have managed to sell in climate where it is tough to sell anything. I just don’t get it, so called lotus enthusiasts seem to want this car fail why?.

Nearly a week into 570 ownership and what a week, never in my wildest dreams did I in imagine it was going to be this good not just in outright performance but it’s great at just pottering around at lower speeds. If you can get over to Nottingham I would be happy to take you for a blast out👍

Yes totally understand what you are saying Bibs as for warranty there still as 6month manufactures warranty left on the car. Obviously I can’t offer finance the car needs to be sold before the 1st of feb so to late for SOR. The part exchange price is a good price was just trying to sell the car obviously for my benefit and we’ll as a potential buyer as I think it’s a fair price.

To be fair some lotus especially Evora’s do go through a lot of owners and my NA was on its 8th owner when I sold it and at that time I sincerely thought it was the best NA on the market. Lots of money spent on it not just by me but previous owners. The amount of owners and miles recorded should not put potential buyers off and that’s from a person that’s had a good fair few new lotus and used cars from the brand.
