The first place I advertised my GT 410sport was the TLF for the same price as the dealer offered me on my most recent McLaren and then AutoTrader, lots off stupid offers no one got near my PX price so sadly went to there groups Lotus dealership in Scotland and then sold to someone that was interested in the car when I had it for sale for many thousands of pounds more the car still had 10month manufacturer’s warranty when I had it for sale, obviously the only thing I could not offer was finance a major factor even in the days of high interest possibly? Performance cars at certain price points are a hard sell private and that’s not just Lotus.

Good video from the other side of the pond if you have a few hours spare to watch it.

Horner the Gaslighter, the aggressor playing the victim, how anyone can defend his actions is beyond me, there is a victim in all this process and she as sadly been pushed aside for a power struggle in the very toxic environment of Redbull ,shame on the FIA and liberty Media for not seeking more transparency. Sad times for F1, the only winner is sadly Netflix.

Looks good in Red and sensibly priced.

Heavy.....probably, but have a look at verified weights for say a Turbo S on Ze perfs website or similar....that car isn't light either and although it's 4 wheel drive, it's also a flat 6 v the Astons bigger V8.
An iffy heritage.....what about the countless wins at Le Mans and other endurance racing. The F1 team has made massive progress in the last 18 months to.
In terms of price, It looks to be about 20k cheaper than a comparable 911, so I'm not sure how 'cheap' it needs to be.
Never had an Aston.....I can't afford one. I'm happy to get behind the brand, particularly when they look to have produced something decent.
Totally agree Aston have come a long way in the last few years, it’s a stunning looking car and more than enough power, the latest infotainment is class leading, competitive on priced in this segment of the market. If this was lotus going down this route with powerful ICE engines instead of the EV tunnel sure it would make members of this forum much happier.

Hello Scott,
Nice to hear from you and yes will have to join in the fun again on the MLOC runs, even though i only made 1 in my GT410 Sport! Hopefully more in the 410 Sport! The Scotland trip sounds good later on in the year.
I saw you took the very nice Exige from Central Lotus, i was looking around that the other week! Is it a potential purchase?
Yes Phil it was definitely a potential purchase always had a soft spot for the Type 25 430. But after driving the car you forgot how raw this lotus platform can be and decided that my old bones could not take the punishment anymore lol.

I don’t know how he manages.
Not sure what your issue is with Lewis?, sure you would have not come out with the same comment if it was Max that was highlighted in Pete’s previous post. You seem to be one of the very few that are being negative about his move to Ferrari, good for the sport definitely unless you can tell me different?

After owning and selling my Essex Blue GT410 Sport and missing the car, I jump ship and bought this 410 Sport! Hopefully delivery this week coming!
Not sure whether or not to remove the side decals and rear 410 Sport sticker. Apart this this, no other plans for the car, just enjoy the handling and sound!!
Thank you for the forum members who have helped me during this process.
Congratulations Phil that looks amazing, hopefully see you and the car on a MLOC run soon, the colour is fantastic, would be interesting how many left the factory in that colour combination. As for your question on the decals, never been a fan always thought the looked they looked like Halfords aftermarket stickers. To be honest they look ok against the grey paint and on limited run car buyers will want to purchase a car as close to OEM in the future.

I am gutted they dropped the Andretti application. Primarily driven by the "Rich boys club" who don't want any watering down of their prize money.
I remember the days of 24 and even more, cars on the grid when the bottom 2 didn't even make the grid. It is always more exciting the more there are.
You must be happy watching a other team trailing around at the back of the field, Andretti have never built there own IndyCar like the other teams buy them of the self so a bit of a tall order to build a competitive F1 car, look at the last team to join F1 Haas 10years ago it’s not gone that good for them. It’s the commercial rights holder Liberty Media and yes it’s a American company, who decides who can have a new entry not the teams.

I didn't say that!
What I will say is a car like that, has a lot going for it!
Meticulous, documented service history for its whole life.
Previous owner for 10 years.
Obviously (in my mind) a loved and cherished car, and, if used regularly on track, the person owning it would have been bang on the button re maintenance, for their own safety and reliability if nothing else. The 15 documented services being testament to that.
Not sure what you're looking for, but this is a performance car, that has been maintained, consistently, and obviously had the money needed spent on it.
Check for signs of crash damage (as you would on any car, the CAT markers are a nonsense as a crashed car not reported won't have a marker, but is still a crashed car!), check for condition. But I would have thought a car regularly used and maintained was a good choice. The mileage is under 3k a year.
@scotty435 - as an MLOC guy, do you recognise this exige from your meetings, LITP etc?
Not a car I recognise from MLOC jollies.Previous Exige 240 owner and possibly my favourite Lotus to date. Fantastic cars.

Vernon Kay - Is there a translator in the house?
That’s just rude, talk about being a north and south divide. We from the north find it hard to translate a southern ascent but don’t need to make an issue out it.

It’s about time the FIA got their house in order. It was an unbelievable the amount of time it took the stewards to give mad Max his time penalty. Should have been a simple give the place back in the first few laps. Don’t know way but Red Bull seem to have FIA in there pocket and it’s no better under there current Arab President Bid Sulayem it’s about time we had someone like David Richards was in this role who would I am sure would be totally independent. Max has history in his aggressive moves that he as never been given a penalty for. He as gone under the radar in the last few seasons with having such a dominant car that he as not have to show his true nature in being a bad sports person and not a very nice person and having the backing from Mr Horner the same sort of person (Toxic) does not help. A similar move below that no penalty was given where a driver was robbed of a drivers world championship in a year that some even more corrupt decisions where made by FIA and there stewards in the last race of the season.

Hamster moaning about George after having shoved him off the track. They need to get their act together.
Race stewards decided no further investigation into the incident, something you used to like to point out on the numerous occasions when Max used to run Lewis off the road or even worse crash into him. Pot calling the Kettle black?

60k unsold. No surprise there unless the owner needs the money.

"For the trained ear not much out there sounds as good, (with the possible exception of V12 Vantage). 😎"
That's what did it for me, following a 410 in my Elan for the filming of the promo video for LITP 3 years ago ! Mighty expensive exhaust note 🤣 it's stunning.
I can't remember if I told you the outcome with my car, it was the ECU that had failed. Lotus allowed a bit of goodwill on its cost and Central fitted & re programmed it. Unfortunately I missed this years event, I was due to lead one of the Classic runs again but ended up in hospital before it, ended up being 4 weeks.
What 410 did you follow on the LITP promo video? If it was my last Lotus it would make feel very privileged getting you into a very special car, I do hope it was yellow in colour if not that privileged as to go a other owner of a fantastic car. Sorry to hear about your misfortune’s this year and hopefully things will get better in the future👍

Hope you are well Scotty & the Macca is still giving you a buzz.
Agree it’s not a good time to be selling at present for obvious reasons. Even exotic, usually much sought after stuff isn’t shifting unless priced well below previous market average prices. Particularly applies on auction sites.
Hi Jimmy, yes the Macca still meeting and on some ocasiones beating my expectations it’s a very capable car. Will be back in a Lotus at some point, a 430 would be a very tempting car to get back into the brand, they have to be a very hard car to value as they don’t come up for sale that often. With the economic climate we are in at the moment anyone in the market for the best modern Lotus made to date this car could be the best opportunity to buy one?

Will be interesting what this 430 achieves in what is a struggling used car market at the moment ?

Some excellent results in the GT Cup this year against much more modern machinery and seemingly ever more competitive.
The Evora GTE raced by the National Academy of Motorsport is a new chassis up car built for this season’s racing, the 2011 Le Mans car as been retired from racing, put back in its Le Mans livery and is on show at Central Lotus show room.

Having owned a few Evora’s my last a GT 410 sport and many other Lotus cars don’t get distracted by the typical Evora owner saying there cars are the superior car, believe me they are not having driven a few Emira’s now they are a much better car than any Evora I have owned, not just in Looks, build quality is night and day not to mention the quality of materials used in the Emira. If anyone can notice a decrease of 10 bhp from a 410 must be a driving god. Probably will get some flack on here for posting this reply but just trying to give my honest opinion, if i was putting a big chunk of money on a lotus, it would be something nearly new with manufacturers warranty and a car that drives like its predecessor which is fantastic and looks like a mini Supercar.
