  1. Hi, I'm Adrian from Bell & Colvill. Amongst other things I manage our FaceBook page and was just talking to Bibs about a car that the current owner got in touch with us about to try and find some of it's history. It's a 1982 Lotus Eclat S2 originally registered as VPK 360Y when it lived in the UK, it's now based in Australia with it's proud current owner. If you have any knowledge of the car please share here or on our FaceBook https://www.facebook.com/BellandColvill. Thanks
  2. First booking has been taken and paid for
  3. Which is heavier, the cake or the real thing?
  4. Thought you had Scott trained to do the polishing for you (He will kill me later, probably between polishing 2-Elevens)
  5. Never hurts to ask Bibs. It is possible to fit a tracker to a 2-Eleven, your dealer should be able to provide more detail.
  6. but the black shows the brake dust less right Jo?
  7. The version I heard was that a car was photographed by a van and they saw the flash. The car came back around and whilst some of the people from it talked to the van operator others remove the rear plate. When out of view said plate was put on the car which then went through the camera at speed enough times to warrant 12+ points. Whether it is true or not, would have been poetic justice!
  8. The idea for those came about beacuse the Bond producers were sick of parking tickets etc back in the 60s, these days with their requirement to hit quotas which means that drunk drivers escape cos they are consentrating on the easy target of parking fines and speeding offences it is about time that we had a line in quick changing plates. I suggest that in the true spirit of performance through light weight it, revolving plates would be to complex and weighty. I suggest your normal plates be attached with velcro and you keep a backup set, with the number of your nearest beloved speed trap van on them, for use when going long distances. (Please note, some of the above is actually a joke but the targetting of motorist for parking and speed is not)
  9. Which probably means I will have to do it for him............ I do have a pic of him driving it out of the showroom the night before he went to see those nice people to beg to keep his licence......... If anyone is interested, I will dig it out. It also proves that Scott's can move under it's own steam and he does use it occasionally, it does not just live in the showroom!
  10. SOLD! (Should soon be gracing both Scott's and my desks!)
  11. That's good news. He took me for a run in his 2-Eleven last night in case he was not able to use it for a while. I don't need to say anything to those of you with 2-Elevens as to how fast they go (and stop!)
  12. Scott tried to get the colour schemes PDF file uploaded but it was too big and I was not able to get the URL for him at the time, I have now:- 2-Eleven Colour Schemes Thanks.
