Personally I liked them all. Each one was right for the time in which it was made. I do admit that the product placed BMW Z3 and 7 series as Bond cars, was a bit of a low point.

I took my pride and joy out for a spin a couple of weeks ago after its winter sleep. near to my house there was a horse trial in a private house. The entrance to the trial was controlled by a couple young kids, a boy and girl letting in the cars. I had to slow down as the car in front was turning into the trial. both kids stopped what they where doing and looked at the car. The young lad who I guess was about 12 years old then called out at the top of his voice. ' NICE CAR MISTER'. This I took as a real compliment to a 19 year old car and a 30 year old design from the a generation surrounded by the lastest helpings of Bugatti, Ferrari, Porsche, Lambo, Massa, Evo, subby, Merc, BMW etc etc etc . As I said at the start Esprit Owners - the next generation B)

Hi and Welcome from yet another South East owner.

Hi and welcome I'm 6' 5 and 16 stone . Size 11 shoes.( must have eaten all the pie ). My car is a late g car with rake seats. I fit in ok but its a squeeze and at our heights you can't get the perfect driving position. ( as was pointed out to me on the recent driver training day ) My knees often hit the dash and I push myself down as much as possible. It also helps having a sun roof. Yet with all the discomfort etc it really is worth it. I've driven a stephens car and agree that there is a bit more room in them . Have fun with the search

Thought this was classic. Guess it must be time for an Esprit event in Cumbria ? B) Anyone seen other classics like this ?
