  2. Gjk's post in Chargecooler hose to tube leak was marked as the answer
Tubes fitted perfectly. I would highly recommend anyone with the same problem to go down the stainless route! Along with the electric pump I should now have a reliable chargecooler system.
I will keep a eye out over the next few drives to ensure I have no weeps/leaks but, apart from that - job done!

Adjusted the cable so both latches release at the same time. You would of been better off posting this in the Elan section of the forum. There will be more people able to help you there.

will report effectiveness once all is back together.
  9. Gjk's post in Door “red light” logic (or lack of) was marked as the answer
Cheers for the pointer @Barrykearley , on removing the drivers door switch found that the copper bit running down the barrel to the mounting screw hole was broken. Resoldered and now door light logic has been restored.

@RobinB5 I found that a PO had done this to solve the problem you have. It’s a tyre valve cap that’s been drilled out to fit over the switch. This may solve your problem without having to build up layers of tape.
