I'm selling a Green one.
-
I assume you mean the GT410 Sport, specifically?
Because the GT410 (non-Sport) uses -400 dampers; the GT410 Sport has different ones (and springs, it seems).
Then there's the (non-GT) 410 Sport, which may be different again!
Yes it's very easy to be talking about the wrong version!
-
GT410 also has more sound deadening over GT410 Sport, I think.

Any changes to the gearbox by Jubu? I thought that was Lotus' concern regards longevity, not the engine.
-
Better steering feel, more power, lighter than an Emira. Much, much rarer. Plus it's an Evora.

Very interesting video about fuel additives. America-orientated, but the punchline is important to us all:
-
It might be better than the Emira, but is it better than the Evora?
-
He's clearly too young to fully understand the appeal of an Evora (kids, or getting in/out of an Elise/Exige), but otherwise good.
-
Also had mine done by Mick Gardner this year, due to misting. I got them to fit 15% softer springs while they were there (2 were not broken, but looking a little tired, so thought I'd replace them all).
It is a shame you have to take the rears off to change the damper settings; they can make a HUGE difference and being able to change them more easily would be very useful.
Wanted to go to Castle Combe on the 25th, but car's way too loud, sadly.

This one should please you, guys. See 14:20.

Slight correction: GT410 has softer springs and dampers than a GT410 Sport. Also more sound deadening and glass hatch, so significantly quieter on the road. Conversely, a touch less raw and heavier, obviously.
Never had a GT4, but have owned driven many 911s/Caymans before and Evora steering feel is way better, as is ride. Porsche interiors higher quality for sure, but Evoras still fine.

Cars have to be over a certain age?
-
Unfortunately it is 100 dB. I think I'm going to try to cancel, sadly.
-
Thanks for that Keith. Will be speak to James right now.
Apparently they need to test it to be sure, will go down on the 15th. I've already booked this, so will be annoying if it won't pass. A track car that's too loud for track days is bonkers.
-
How do we know if our car will meet the noise standards? Anyone taken a standard GT430 to Castle Combe and been turned away?
-
My pleasure, Mel.

Honestly, just put some soft foam earplugs in.
Makes a HUGE difference to background noise levels while still being able to hear voices/radar/horns, etc.
Weigh pretty much nothing. I'd say Colin Chapman would approve!

Yeah EVO Porsche bias probably put off a lot of potential Evora buyers in the past.

It's not necessarily an exclusive choice. Evora can be BOTH, depending on model.
If you have a Sport 410,GT410 Sport or GT430 , they are more sports car than GT, so an Emira (which is more GT than sports car) might make sense as well if you want a GT.
If you have a 400 or GT410 (non-Sport) that can be both sports car and GT. The Emira is pointless in that case. Both are more practical (and special) than an A110 as well.

Totally agree, plus the reduced power, more weight, more fussy displays, with no rear space, means Emira of zero interest to me.

I believe the structure doesn't allow a Targa without compromising the rigidity of the car too much.
