  1. That's good to know - thank you. And yes - my car is currently about 180mm at the front, but 215mm at the rear - it's definitely high.
  2. Ok - so that's your white 84 in the picture above? That's the look I want - not changing the front, but want to lower my back end - it's about 1 inch higher than yours and looks like an SUV. So you would recommend the non-A/C spring from SJ?
  3. Would that work on my 86? I'm really confused about which springs to get. The non-A/C ones are softer right?
  4. Assuming you mean SJ Sportscars, did you buy their standard spring up to 1993 with A/C and did it lower the ride height?
  5. I have an '86 Turbo that I think is a little high in the rear end. I know there were some changes in ride height from the early models to the later models, but this seems excessively high. In my searching for springs, it seems that the rear springs were changed to later ones that are longer than standard? I would like to try to return my car to a level ride - currently the rear of the side sill is more than an inch higher off the ground than the front - so I'd like to drop it an inch. Searching for springs has drawn a massive blank, as have spring rates - I've seen some reports of 155 lbs per inch but can't be sure if that was a Turbo or A/C or not. Does anyone know what the spring rates are so I could get some made an inch lower? Should have said it's a UK model, not Federal.
  6. I have a RHD 86 Turbo Esprit, and surprisingly (to me) the light stalk is on the left and the wiper stalk on the right. I'm used to RHD cars from RHD countries being the other way around, especially manuals - allows you to indicate with the fingers of your right hand on the wheel while changing gears with your left. Looking at the parts catalogue, it lists the stalks for placement on each side of the steering column not by LHD or RHD - so my question is, if I buy the stalks for the other sides, will they fit and would the wiring etc. all reach?
  7. Oops - 3rd one is a RHD '86 Turbo Esprit, so it's headlights are already RHD (and LED I believe).
  8. I have 3 Esprits, a LHD '79 S2 "World Championship" edition (Federal/California model), a LHD '83 Turbo Esprit. I'm considering brining both from the US to NZ. My issue is the headlights - they must be swapped for RHD to bring them to NZ. I have read various things about 5 3/4" lights, and 6" lights but haven't found anything specific that states what came on what models, other than it seems the S3/Turbo are the ones with 6" lights? I see LED kits can be purchased for those models, but what about the S2? Ideally I would like LED lights in the S2, but first and foremost I need RHD lights in it to compliance it in NZ, but am unsure of the size, and given it's in the US and I'm now in NZ going and looking/measuring is tricky! Any help is appreciated. Dino
  9. I have one that I am thinking of selling but unfortunately it's in the US in Texas.
