Yes , I bought it last year from a member on here . And it was running not long before I bought it . I bought a few projects last year , but due to poor health have decided to dwindle them down to one or two . I sold a lovely S1 just before xmas , a burgandy one . I put the white S2 on Ebay to test the waters . Its a good car and the S2 is becoming rare now . But as a non runner it failed to create much interest ,so I ended the listing . I would like to get it running , but as I said due to health problems , it looks like I may have to sub this out , or sell as is . regards Lee

Hi All , Looking for some expert help from you all . I have an S2 elite ( non runner ( , and a 2.2 LC 85 Excel , runner . I want to see if i can get the elite running , using parts from the excel to see the state of the engine . Are the ignition systems the same ? . I have fuel up to the carbs with clean petrol , but weak spark and not starting . Before I go out and replace everything at significant cost . Does anyone know if I can tranfer parts over from the two cars . Many Thanks in Anticipation Regards Lee

that was my elite , as a new ebayer , I couldnt list above 1 k , so thought that I could start low and see how it whent . Unfortunately buyers thought they were gonna steel for a few hundred quid . Probably my fault not theres . Still for sale I wont 4k , considering the good body , good chassis and good interior . I thinks its a bargain . I want to do a nut and bolt resto and this is too good for this . ##Lee

Hi All , thought would post a couple of the S1 purchased in the summer . When ive had a move about , i will post some pics of the S22 Elite I purchased from John Hazel . But Im sure long term members will know the car . I am in a bit of quandry . my initial plan was to buy an elite or eclat to nut and bolt restore . I now have this S1 that needs recomissioning rather than restoring . I have read through some old paperwork , and it appears that the car was in not bad nick in the ninteties but , the PO decided to have it restored . it had a respray in rollsroyce burgandy , a replacement spyder chassis and a full retrim ( letters from trimmer in the states regarding new old stock material . it then seems to have been dry stored since It seems too good to mess about with . Does anyone recognise the car ? thanks Lee

it seems a bit steep on price and considering where it is in the country . that might put some people off . may be worth a cheeky low bid ?

hi all , Well after a challenging 12 months since i struck the deal with john " THE NUT " Hazel . The Elite S2 is here in its new home on the outskirts of Northamptonshire . Lock down , poor health and job changes , protracted the process , but with Johns help and patience we finally got there . During this time I also bought an S1 Elite . I will post pictures soon and may be asking lots of questions ? . Thanks Lee

yes i think i have been slightly naieve . Got hooked in by my enthusiasm . Ten gran is probably was its worth . I expect its too be sale fore a while unless someone with more money thank sense wants to take it on . I will keep you all updated , you never know ? . Kindest Regards Lee
