Hi mate, unfortunatly not, we moved house at the end of july and i had to get my puma back on the road asap so had to stop work on the lotus til it was done (a full sill and arch replacement plus floor and inner sill repairs), that all done now, (theres a video series on my youtube channel called rescued from the brink phase 2 ;-) Since weve moved, its been non stop house work but rest assured the lotus is now at MEC-TEC garage 2.0 and im itching to carry on with it, next job will more than likely be removing the engine and box and going through everything before the rebuild begins, I really appreciate everyones patience 👍👍

Hi Mate We are currently in the process of moving house at the moment so I have had to put it on hold atm as I really don't want to have an engine out when we move, we are hoping to be moving at the end of march, so as soon as we are in the new place and unpacked i will be back on it as soon as i can 👍

I got a set off a guy on the lotus excel forum, they are used but virtually new, only a cheap set to get me going but should do the job better than the 25 year old ones haha😄

Hi All Not been much progress on the Excel since the last video as we are now moving house ! so dont really want the engine out the car when that happens, I have however got the wheels off and they are off being refurbed and new tyres fitted so they dont keep going down, I know what your all going to say, why an earth are you refurbing the wheels when it needs so much else, well it was going to cost me to have new tyres fitted on the wheels and if i got the wheels refurbed then they would fit my new tyres in with the price, so it saves me money in the long run... makes sence in my head haha heres a couple of pics, the excel up in the air and my little Citroen C1 with no less than 9 wheels and tyres in the back ! haha

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great Christmas, I have a question with regards the value of a Number Plate I have, A20 TVS, ( A 20TVS ) ... as you can see spaced right spells A LOTUS, what sort of price would you put this up for sale for ? I have got a plate for my Excel which I think is perfect for it... C22 EXL (2.2 EXCEL) and my car should be on a C plate so it fits nicely, hence the Lotus plate being up for grabs, hope this is ok to ask on here Regards Mike

Hi mate ! Yes i saw the Excels in the carpark, i think i did shake your hand and say hello briefly toward the end of the evening, i will deffo be at future meets so hopefully will get more chance to chat Excels in the future, hopefully in the new year i will make some more progress on the Excel, however it looks like we are moving house in the new year so it may have to wait til we have done that before i carry on taking the engine out 👍👍👍
