  1. Mileage is slightly high but appears a very good price plus an indication of marketplace: https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/16810124 Plus I see the grey 2015 S sports racer with 16k miles has dropped in price to £38.5K. That was £44k earlier this year, nice looking car but too close to 400 price territory now.
  2. Dave - I can’t insert web links for some reason, but I’m referring to the Evora 400 on Autotrader for £43,995.
  3. Wow that is nice. Not sure it’s worth a £6-£7k premium over similar age/mileage cars but definitely looks spectacular
  4. Good to see the silver 400 has dropped to £40k, I did think it was overpriced especially in comparison to the grey car in Durham that was 18 months younger and had 20k less miles. Has anyone seen it or know anything further. It’s a good trek for me and it does seem this forum is doing a great job on telling the reality of a car so people don’t waste their time.
  5. Thanks Dave, and would you agree that the clutch on the 400 will last a good 70k miles?
  6. So the silver 400 with 44k miles probably has a few years left on it, but is fast approaching a scenario of ‘when’ one is needed instead of ‘if’
  7. What is the clutch life on the 400? Is it the same as the regular Evora S? im really tempted by the silver one
  8. At £44k it was somewhat overpriced too, but at least the seller has realised and dropped to £41k. It’s got a little lower to go before I’m interested. Jon Seal sold a 2016 CR with 24k miles for £41k, with all those dealer assurances and a recent clutch. Unfortunately I didn’t get there quick enough, procrastinated a little 🤣
  9. Anyone know of any cars coming to the market soon? I’ve got a max of £45k though would prefer to spend less, preferably in a bright colour and sub 30k miles
  10. Thanks Pete, but I think that car is long sold. It doesn’t show up on Jon’s pistonheads stocklist anyway. To be honest I’m not too keen on a car with a highly valued low mileage, I’d be concerned to use it much.
  11. If anyone is thinking of selling, please get in contact. I’m not too fussed about colour, or indeed mileage, just looking for a well maintained car with good history. I don’t want anything too modified, a relatively standard car with a fruity exhaust would be ideal. Budget is relatively flexible, I’m after the right car. edited to add - I’m based in Yorkshire. Thanks, Tony
  12. Interesting, thanks. The seller thinks the difference is £5k which doesn’t strike me as reasonable
  13. mileage on a 2012 Evora S… what would you expect the price differential to be on a car with 25k miles versus a car with 35k miles? virtually identical other than that, private sale. Thanks
  14. I’m wondering if anyone has any insight on Sports Racer values and the effect of colour and mileage. There are several examples on the market at the moment: 2015 S in blue with 11kmiles @ £45k, private sale 2015 S in grey with 12k miles @ £45k, private sale 2015 S in yellow with 23k miles @ £45k, private sale 2015 S in grey with 40k miles @ £40k, dealer sale with 12 months Lotus warranty Is the mileage such the killer for the grey one, or simply are the others overpriced?
