Hi All, Sorry for the late shout out. Is anyone interested in exhibiting there Lotus at this years The British Motor Show? It runs from the 18th - 21st August, free admission for driver and passenger when displaying there car. North Kent Lotus Group have again been asked to put on a display of cars so why not come and join us, you can choose to do any number of the 4 days. Hi All, North Kent Lotus Group have been invited to represent Lotus at The British Motor Show, Farnborough International, GU14 6FD, Thursday 19th - Sunday 22nd August. We would like to extend this invite to Forum members. For those wishing to join us, we would only ask that you become a member of NKLG (£5) in order to be covered by our insurance. This iconic show returns with a new format celebrating all things motoring. They will be putting on 3 live stunt shows per day with Paul Swift in the live arena. There will be classic car parades, record breakers, solar cars, live tests, mountain bike displays and over 30 National owners clubs will be displaying their pride and joys, including NKLG. Tim Shaw and Fuzz Townsend from Car SOS, Mike Brewer from Wheeler Dealers and Motoring expert Mike Rutherford are among the celebrities attending this fantastic show. This event is free to drivers, and for those choosing to attend all 4 days your passenger will also go free. My Esprit is running Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3, all round I couldn't find the right size fronts so opted for 245/40 R17 out front., I used this chart to calculate the next best fit, Tyre Size Calculator (tiresize.com) Hope it helps

Hi All, Has anyone had and knows how to sort this? When I lock my Esprit (96 V8) with the alarm remote the drivers door keeps unlocking, the passenger door stays locked and the alarm arms ok. If I keep hitting the arm button the door eventually stays locked, I can lock the door with the key ok. Cheers for any help Jon

Hi Sam, Welcome to the forum, my take on the project is, if you feel up to it, nothing beats the feeling of driving a car, that you have spent time blood, sweat and tears restoring to an event and talking to even just one admiring person about the problems/fun you encountered during the restoration project. Take a chance, make a low opening offer, if you get it great, if it gets to much move it on but live safe in the knowledge that you have helped save another rare Lotus.

We're at the end of a close so not much passing foot traffic here either, the neighbours are used to seeing our cars, I did talk to one of them, he has an Excel that he's been working on for years. Recons to get an mot on it some time this year. There are 3 Lotus owners in our road.

Hi All, Hope you are all well (and still sane). As we have been unable to attend any events or shows with our lovely and probably now very shiny Lotus and are unlikely to be able do so this year I've attached a link for "the Classics for Carers" stay at home car show.
