Does anyone know the easiest way to get the sunvisors removed for recovering as it seems rather trickier to get them off than I had hoped it might be???????????

James - If you are looking for a quality retrim or restitching job you should get yourself over to Ramsay Coachtrimmers and ask for Willie as he is well know in Scotland for doing a first class job. Hello lads I live in Falkirk and have recently just bought a 1986 Esprit G Turbo. I went to the monthly meeting at Bo'ness a couple of weeks and met some decent guys there. Hope to meet up with you all at some point!!

Hello to all you Lotus Esprit members out there!!! I recently just bought this Esprit (yes the sun does shine up here sometimes) - its my first Lotus!!! This forum looks really good with lots of contributions from lots of members. I also have a Rover SD1 Vitesse Twin Plenum and am a frequent user of the SD1 forum which is also excellent but by comparison has only a fraction of members posting! I live in Falkirk in Central Scotland. I attended my first Lotus meeting a couple of weeks ago and met some good guys there - all in all I am really enjoying Lotus ownership!!!! Hope you like the car - I know I do!!!! A few little problems to iron out which should be getting attended to next with in the next couple of weeks then it will probably be tucked away until Spring Here is a pic of the two cars together with the Vitesse already tucked away for the Winter months! And finally a group of pics of the Vitesse (used to put onto a mug sold on ebay - personally designed - it came out really well!!) at one of the shows I attended earlier in the year.
