  1. Jeez that’ll take some doing over 4 days…..and that’s coming from a Scotsman!😳
  2. Hi Fabian, hopefully you’ll get this…. Hope you’re doing well! Life’s not the same without following one of your resto’s, especially the Turbo one. I’ve got a mate who’s restoring his ‘82 Turbo and like yours had the front speakers in the dashboard. What size were the holes on the template you created - was it 3mm or 4mm? He’s done 2.5 and they look too small and is going to do it again, so any help to confirm what you did on the template attached would be much appreciated. Thanks Stephen
  3. These are good👍 https://uk.puma.com/uk/en/pd/speedcat-og-sneakers-unisex/398846?swatch=01&size=0200&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAB_479UycuF3pe1BPeKjnQnuw9Kr6&gclid=CjwKCAjwqre1BhAqEiwA7g9QhlYsDyzY_eGLRMoW51TIRSydI38fJ2z3rqbTp8y_bU3pcf9V81e7PBoCzcoQAvD_BwE and there are various Ferrari ones…..😉 https://uk.puma.com/uk/en/pd/scuderia-ferrari-drift-cat-delta-motorsport-shoes/306864
  4. It’s rare that Harry isn’t spot on with what he tells us all, to be fair to him. He is the true voice of reason in the Trade! I was personally coming around to the idea of an Emira but can’t quite get the spec to be what I would go for…….although the Cosmos Black one in Parks right now is stunning! But it’s the 2.0 version which I think would soon bore me….. However the main reason for not seriously considering is 1. the price for a new one now, but 2. the fact that 3 of their 5 used ones on display had the well know blistering issue on both doors. The fact Lotus haven’t got those fixed (doors replaced) for their supporting dealers, tells me everything I need to know about the brand right now……I’ll keep my money until they sort their game out. They need more supporting dealers, and this was always my main concern when Geely got involved. Without a much larger supporting dealer network and the continued lack of true support from Hethel, they’re going to struggle to make a go off this latest phase they’re enduring! I appreciate that without Sales Dealer Groups won’t support, but this is why they should’ve continued with supporting dealers who did contribute to sales for so many years…..but instead went the Dealer Group route and didn’t get the required support. Yes it will hopefully come (Type 134 for me was the car that will either save them or break them and should’ve been launched first!) but look how many adopted new conquest customers Lotus have gained, only to lose for the reasons Harry highlights amongst others. Yet again, so much promise……but not enough of it realised. Very frustrating!🙁
  5. Looking great Barry….really great work!👏🏻👏🏻 It’s like the Mediterranean twin of mine!😉😎
  6. I’d also like to get back into some Breakfast meets this year. I look forward to seeing you all at one, at some point when the weather warms back up. I’m now living just North of Perth in Murthly. Love it up here - the surrounding roads are amazing👍 Alan I’d like to take you up on your offer to be added to the WhatsApp group👍 I’ll PM you. Cheers Stephen
  7. Very good point well made Neil! I was in a hurry when I posted earlier as was heading out for the day….and something did trigger in my mind about the reg and something not feeling right, and now I know why. The blue Dry Sump purchased is a beauty and have admired it previously several times! Ignore me, and I’ll leave you all to get back on topic!🤦🏻‍♂️😉
  8. Dave just looking at the details of your car…what makes you think it’s a Dry Sump car? The advert says Wet Sump and the engine bay looks like a Wet Sump variant ie. without the tank on the right…… I’m sure yours is Wet Sump like mine (mine being the first one built) - pictured for ref and to show you how similar they are👍😉
  9. I’ve got your twin!😉😎…….Congratulations on your purchase. I thought it would’ve budded higher with the plate but you got yourself a bargain there by all accounts👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Would love to see some more photos of your one👍
  10. Stunning car and I think it was the one I’ve been admiring (weekly) on Autotrader👏👏😎 Well done on the purchase. A very inspired choice!😎
  11. @Stuart Monument - did you ever ask the NMC Salesman you know whether he remembered the sale of my Esprit? Would love to see a copy of the records from back then😎
  12. Looks like the first owner will be from China…..if the nose badge is an indication👍
  13. Yeah - attached to the doors!🙄😄
