I really like the looks of the x-bow. and to be fair it seems a lot of car for the money. I would hate to think what they have really cost to build.

Some of you who were at the Lotus Motorsport open day out on Saturday will know. Nick had to go off to hospital after hurting his back (I am not 100% sure what he has done) He was supposed to fly off on holiday on Monday, but I heard he never made it Nick if you at home and can read this. Bibs you forgot to say he was a local, had the full aero pack, on slicks and I was 2 up I have heard he got a very good deal from KTM and they are even paying for his racing this year. Was a good day, loved brands, great track roll on May.

I am heading off tomorrow morning, drive from Aberdeen to North Weald (500 miles, I hope it doesn't rain)for a day with Walshy Thursday, Brands on Friday then up to Lotus Saturday. My car will be staying at Lotus for a couple of weeks to get some work done (remember -15% discount ). Got a flight home booked Sunday (glad I don't have to drive home again) My car will pass the 10,000 miles mark tomorrow. See some of you on Saturday. Scotty C

Yes, its not cheap, But it is something I have wanted to do for a few years. I will not be doing that many trackdays this year that are not connected to the racing and no French Frolic Insurance is a funny one. Cost approx

I have never done a Lotus day (I never got to do the 2-11 one ) so have no idea what they are like. But I have done a few days with Andrew at the airfield (going next Thursday) and have done countless laps on track with him as well. Not to far from Hethel either. Just make sure the tonneau is the right one for the cage as I am sure there will be extra (different) hole positions? and if its left or right hand drive.

I have the standard spliter but I am thinking about getting a friend to make a track size one in carbon. I would be interested to see if both leading front edges are the same shape? Thanks Scott

I'm not 100% sure but I think you can get the cap only from some motorsport outlet. I lost one on my 340r. Let me ask on the 340r forum. Measure the size of your hole (not because they are going to shaft you)before you call. Scotty PS when you put you cap on always make sure the locking flap is pointing back (areo dynamic) as it might open with the wind?
