Can't wait to do the ring again in the 2-11. The car will lap sub 8 mins all day (depending on traffic/ crashes) Lets hope the Lotus only track day comes off in August next year.

Can you explain what you mean by shower cover? I forgot I left the car out all night (maybe it was the beers while I was watching the GP?) It was -5 deg and I could hardly fold the cover to put it in the car? And yes I did take it to work that day )

not sure, but this car had a few mods. Not sure if you can see in the photo above. This car has no oil coolers in the front, not sure where they are but if they are in the back I am sure it will save weight, less pipes etc Just something I spotted, when I was at the 60th.

Bert Good to meet you and take you out, was a great track, think i could drive the back straight chicane over and over again and still not get bored. Still never got it over the 100 on exit. After taking Donnelly out for a few laps at Snetterton, we came in and he said "I think your back left is to hard, go check your pressures". Right enough it was 3 psi harder then the rest. Blew me away that did. He said they should be 23 all round hot. Scotty C

I had a set of AO39's on my cup. I did a couple of trackdays in the wet on them and found them to be very good. http://www.eliseparts.com/shop/index.php?m...products_id=227 Not the cheapest, but if you are going to just use them in the wet they will last a couple of years (they might go off before you wear them out) Scotty C

I think the front one is a clam off job to fit and the grill is different it has a hole in it with a plastic surround. This is why I paid

right I am 6'2" 17.5 stone and its not easy You stand with your back to the car, put your arms on the top bar and push yourself up and sit on the bar. Then slide across to sit on the middle bar. then just slide in. Now getting out, that not easy

I think its there GT4 race car. I was in the garage with Nick Adams after they had closed the doors, I was interested in the cage and wanted to try it out for size. He didn't say to much about the rest of the car but I noticed it didn't have the normal oil coolers in the front wheel arches. Best get in touch with Lotus motorsport direct. Scotty C

Thursday 23rd October we drive down. Friday 24th Walshy day. I am not sure what the plan is. It might be a 4 person day or it might turn into a activity day as there are a few of us on a mini tour, but not all of them want to do the Walshy day. Crossing to France (this will be a nightmare as its Friday rush hour?) Saturday 25th - Folembray, Northern France, Sunday 26th - Abbeville, Northern East France, followed by ferry back to Englandshire Monday 27th - Snetterton, Englandshire (well Norfolk) Tuesday 28th- Oulton Park, Englandshire Jo not sure if you have any of these dates booked with LOT. Think there is 10 of us total coming down from Scotland. Still to conform hotels. Are you sure you want to come out for a beer??? Then the 2-11 will be getting a well rested. Scotty

Glad you enjoyed your lesson. I am heading down at the end of Oct for a day. Really looking forward to it as its been a long time since I have been on a big open airfield. Scotty C
