Anyone in Herts around to lend a hand?

Hi all, 

My Eclat 523 has been sitting for a few months and now won't start. Anyone around the Stevenage / Hitchin / Hertfordshire area who fancies dropping by to give me a hand with getting the old girl running?

Hmmm - in truth its a bit of a hike from me down in S London Lord Sinky....

What are we dealing with? Turns over but wont fire? I assume you've already given the body of the fuel pump in the boot a tap with a hammer?

Hi Duncan, yes it turns over but won't fire. I'll try tapping the fuel pump but it's a new electronic one. Thanks for the advice though.

Have you tried easystart? If it turns over and runs with easystart it's a fuel issue, if it doesn't fire with easystart it's more than likely an electronic problem. Sometimes the easystart will get things going and that helps pull fuel through
