New batch reversed cwp and new type Quaife diff.

Hi, in October this year a new batch reversed crownwheel and pinion sets will be available. As allways, perfect ratio and fit.

 

Around the same time there will be a batch standard Quaife ATB diffs and a limited batch special Quaife diffs. 

 

The new diff will be 26% “stiffer” compared to the standard unit, the torque bias ratio has increased from 1.63 to 2.04.

 

The increased helix angle on the gears increases the force into the sun gear when the wheel slips, which increases the torque through the pinions and onto the opposite sun gear which will increase the force onto the road for the other wheel.

 

This will also mean that the new diff is more responsive to any loss of traction compared to the standard model.

 

This would be ideal for track.
