Stop Squeaking Brakes?

I currently replaced my racing brake pads with a street application brake pad for less brake dust and squeaking

but they still squeak when I brake lightly. Just really embarrassing rolling up squeaking.

Currently they are Wilwood Dynalites -1521

is there anything I can do to the pads or different kinds? ( rather not buy another set though.. )

Copper slip behind the pads?

Copper grease on the front of the pads will definately stop the squealing.......

Will also stop the car from.... erm..... stopping LOL

Actually, I prefer putting it on the back of the pads!

an Esprit owner who made his own big brake kit using the dynalite and superlite and complained of squeaking as well. here is a bit of an email he sent to me:

"Removing the rear pads and chamfering the leading edges down with a

belt sander (like many OEM pads are now) is what eventually solved my

brake noise problem. I did try shimming the pads before chamfering and

it made no difference. If the chamfering didn't work I was going to change

pad compounds to see if that would help."

took it for a test drive. everything was good and the brakes stopped squeaking with the "Disk Brake Quiet" on the

back of the pads.

"Disk Brake Quiet" cost about 5 bucks at an auto parts store and was a spray can that was very easy to apply.
