2021 Lotus Elise Sport 220 Heritage Edition

Recommended Posts

At Hilton & Moss we are delighted to bring yet another rare and high-specification Lotus to the market.

This beautiful Lotus Elise Sport 220 Heritage Edition is one of just 100 Limited Edition models inspired by classic Lotus F1 cars and their liveries. The Heritage Edition offered a number of factory optional extras within the base price making these incredibly high-specification cars. Furthermore, bespoke interior trim themes add a further unique touch to these limited models.

The standardised optional extras included an Alcantara interior pack, Alcantara steering wheel, unique exterior livery, heritage paintwork, forged lightweight wheels, contrast stitching, air conditioning, body-coloured interior colour pack, premium speaker system, floor mats, floor carpets, single DIN Bluetooth radio and cruise control.

Crowned Evo sports car of the year in 2017, the Sport 220 is a superb driver-focused machine. The 1.8-litre supercharged engine produces plenty of power throughout the rev range and  the car is capable of 145MPH, with 0-60 in just 4.2 seconds. The new open gate gear lever adds a further sense of occasion to an already unique car, the re-engineered central exhaust and race-inspired (functional) rear diffuser remind you that the Sport 220 is a seriously capable, well-planted car. The Lotus Dynamic Performance Management system allows drivers to switch between modes depending on driving style and personal preference. Features of the body of the car have been designed in such a way to maximise downforce. Combine this with double wishbone suspension on all four corners and it’s no surprise the car handles so well.

This particular Heritage Editon wears the Type 49 Heritage Livery finished in one of the finest Lotus colours, Ardent Red paintwork (C94) with contrasting white and gold leaf. This colour combination of red, white and gold references the Lotus Type 49B Formula 1 car driven by the legendary Graham Hill. The Elise Sport 220 Heritage Edition had a production run of only 100 cars with only 9 believed to have been produced in the red, white and gold leaf Type 49B livery.

The heritage paint scheme subtly ties in with the livery theme and wheels perfectly. The interior is finished in black leather with red Alcantara inserts, this Elise has every unique box ticked with the gold interior and centre console optioned. The lightweight forged wheels have been finished in black which only further accentuates this car’s features.

First registered in March 2021 this Elise Sport 220 Hertiage Edition has just one former keeper who specified and purchased the car brand new. Being a long-term customer of ours and an enthusiastic Lotus owner, this Elise has been maintained impeccably and presents as you would expect with a minimal 4,855 miles covered.

Our in-house technicians have fully inspected this Lotus. We welcome part exchanges and offer competitive finance.

Available now for viewing and demonstration at our Bishops Stortford showrooms.
