Aircon issue after clutch change

Hello everyone I hope you are all well and did not use CrowdStrike!  I had my clutch changed and when I got the car back the aircon did not work.  I arranged for it to be regassed, but this has not fully sorted the issue.  It appears the the cold air comes and goes.  because of the engine noise it is difficult to hear if the clutch is engaging. Could this be a bad earth or something else?  Where abouts is the compressor in the engine bay?
