Hi Had my clutch changed and we’re now getting the above errors after reinstalling the engine. Has anyone had this problem and was it electrical wiring issue or a failed pump and how can we test. thanks

Do you think with the success of the Emira, and it is a success. Do you think it will increase values of the Evora?

No mine was not slipping but was biting extremely high and was very heavy. Everyone who felt it said it was very heavy. I think mine was due ton previous owners doing launches as flywheel and pressure plate had scotch marks

Thanks, I did look in the owners manual tech data and it said use GL5 not 4? Havoline Multigear MTF HD 75W/80 API-GL5

I'm having to do clutch on my 400 at 34K, but the flywheel has heat marks so probably too much clutch dropping.

I’m going to do the serpentine (aux) belt. I seem to recall a better non lotus one? Is that right or is the lotions OEM okay? Evora 400

Ok I thought I’d give you an update. I decided to get the clutch changed and today we split the gearbox from the engine. Looks like it was the right decision. Oh and I'm going to get the flywheel faced. Ok, now I don't know what to do. When I bought my Evora 400 in July 2021 I was very happy with it. used it for the summer and then winterised it until march. Put it in for a service and was told the clutch is "very heavy". I hadn't really noticed it before but after they said that I did think it was slightly heavy. Now 2 LitP later and just got back from an 1800 mile Stelvio trip. I book it in for a clutch change on 2nd October. So a week later from the Stelvio trip I thought I give the old girl a wash. When I drove it out of the garage I could swear the clutch felt lighter!! Gave it a wash and then took it for a run and to be honest the clutch seems fine. Yes probably a little heavy, especially when reversing but nothing terrible. The bit point is quite high, but there is no slipping and no juddering when pulling away. So now I'm think just get roadside assistance cover and enjoy the thing rather than spend a fortune on changing the clutch when it may not be any different when I get it back. Is it likely to final just give up spontaneously or just get progressively heavier. thoughts pls. serious suggestions pls. I know the clutch thing has had it fair share of discussion but would appreciate opinions. Every Lotus person that has felt the clutch has said it'd heavy Thanks in Advance

I haven't driven another 400 but sat in a couple and they are both a lot lighter than mine. We'll find out soon as taking it to the Alps next weekend for the Lotus 75th jolly. fingers crossed😂🙄

do you really need to remove the bumper or can that come off with the Clam? or is is it too heavy

do you have to lift it out completely or can you lift it a little enough to get the gearbox off?

no slippage. It's been heavy for a long time (over 2 years), almost as log as I have owned it. Do you think it could be something else? I do have a 2 post lift but have a land rover series 3 on that as doing that restore. I'm hoping to do it on axle stands and a double garage. unless someone says a 2 post lift make it so much easier.

Yes, 400. It’s done 32k. Pedal is very heavy with bit point high.
