o dear, dilemma time. a nice chap bought my excel at the Stoneleigh show, i had 3700

The AWIs are kinda cool, but like you said they are SO heavy (looking). Why not some S4 wheels ..or go aftermarket forged for big $$.

A friend of mine has AWI Monoblocs on his SE - Pearl white SE with Black alloys!

They seem to fit ok and look great.

He seems to have quite a collection of wheels from OZ Splits rims to AWI's by way of Saturns and Magnesios! - I don't know which he is willing to sell! (Tho I know he won't sell the Mags!)

The other option you didn't add above was to refurb at only

yeah, could get the standard ones re-conned. I am warming to that idea. dont want even heavier steering, i have decided. so its either GT3/S4 17"rims or std, with new rubber.

Honestly, I think the 10" V8 rear wheels look stupid on cars with out the fender extensions from many angles. They just stick out too far.
