Is there anything to test a 1988 w/bosch injection ?

Confirmed:

Bosch 0437502031 injector is listed for 1986-88 Lotus Esprit Turbo,

“Short” 65mm (2.6”) in length.

You may look at some Porsche injectors, but you have to do your own investigation

3.3 T injectors are Bosch 0437 502 017 / Porsche 931 110 225 00

3.6T injectors are Bosch 0437 502 057 / Porsche 964 110 235 20

In addition, you may investigate Mercedes Benz injectors if they fit; I think they are a bit longer, but there is enough "meat" on the barrel to machine the C-clip retention groove. If in doubt-check with John at specialtauto.com

MB INJECTORS:

At the top there is a nut that holds the fuel line to the injector. If the nut takes 14mm wrench you need the 0437 502 047's. If it takes 12mm you need the 0437 502 054's.

They are used on 8 cylinders regular and also on 6 cylinders 24 valve engines such as 91-93 MB300 CE and 8 cylinders CIS 85-1992 cars.

Also, you may look at compatibility of the Bentley 1988, 6.7L V8 Turbo R injector Bosch PN 0437502050
