I havent found a thread on oil yet,what recomended wt. oil for the 4 cyl. And also is fuel system treatment safe for the turbo? Of course it would be LUCAS!!!

Hey Tim,

There are quite a few threads on this forum about oil. I made a switch to redline 15/50 over 2 years ago because Mobil 1 changed the formula to the gold top but then had issues. Now they have a another formula on the market. I think the current formula might be ok, but I do not believe there have been many tests run on this current formula.

I used 15-50 red line on hot summer,

I run castrol syntec 5-50 on colder weather,

just did oil change on all my cars with castrol

Cool,ive always liked Mobil 1...What about the Lucas fuel treatment,anybody use any treatment?

no mater what fuel additive u use will not clean ur injectors,

I personaly think its waste of money,

I u wana have ur combustion and valves clean and power

best upgrade u can do is water injection

or u can run up to ur paint store and get a galon of toulene

and mix little mistery marvel oil and u will have ur homemade

cleaner and octane booster

thats what I run on track days

also I never run any kind of addatives or leak stops

on any of the cars fluids especialy dont do it in oil
